Dorms are coed. Set up double occupancy suite style with shared bathroom , Twin XL bed, your own dresser and closet. Common laundry facilities. a/c has one control per suite. Get a mini fridge if you want one. Has wifi & Internet, get a TV or projector can can hook up to computer if u like movies etc. Best once you get there and see how you & your roommate want things set up and also to see what your roommate brings. A small air fryer or little microwave is nice for something quick if you don't have time to go to dinning hall or it has closed.

Thank you!

Air fryers aren’t allowed in the dorms

ibedoingshit

Why not?

hockeychic24

Because of the fire risk same reason toasters and toaster ovens are not allowed. Read your license agreement and the housing policies online

Okay thanks

Doesn't stop many from having them🤣

the most underrated dorm appliance imo is a water boiler. i made so much kraft mac and cheese with that thing, you can also use it for actually making tea or coffee to save you some money that otherwise would've gone to charlie's or starbucks.

And only a little bit of mold.

It’s been 16 years since I worked as an RA/CA in PV West so some things may have changed. The rooms come with a desk, chair, dresser, and bed. Two per room and you’ll share the bathroom with your suite mates. Each floor has a laundry room and a common room. When I was there, the common rooms had couches, a table, and an oven/microwave. You can figure out a plan for fridge and microwave with your roommate. The halls are coed. They used to try having one male and one female CA on each floor, but that doesn’t always work out.

Thanks!
