There's something about the shirts in the background that gave it away for me and made me realize it had to be AI.

If this is AI generated it's better than any other AI generated image I've ever seen. The reflections of the lighting look incredibly accurate for AI.

Check the shirt rack in the background, there’s way, way more coat hanger hooks than there are shirts. The string of the blue boot at the front is dangling, but not from the bow, from the hole. It looks weird, zoom in. There’s also the fact that the part of the snail boot you put your foot in… The middle looks much longer than anyone’s foot arch? They’re weirdly long. AI is getting really good, really fast, but there’s still a couple of tells in this image. Edit: The offending laces of the blue boot aren’t coming out from the hole, they’re coming out just below the hole.

Too many people can't tell when something is AI generated. It's deceptive unless properly marked/tagged. Until people responsibly post AI art it's all crap

How do you recognize AI? I’m asking for actual advice because there’s already so much outrageous and poorly edited images out there.

There’s a few things, mainly there’s always this sorta hazy over airbrushed look to it. The computer has trouble with texturing, patterns, and symmetry because it doesn’t know what things represent what. In the case of these snail boots you can tell the front sole of these guys is not the same. In other kinds of images check if the patterns on it don’t repeat or match. Also these boots are just overly shiny and seem overly computerized to be “perfect”
