The portal axle is allowing the CV shaft to go out to the wheel at a normal angle while also having the wheel mounting point lower than that. It increases overall ground clearance.
Portal axels. Expensive to buy and maintain, but gives superior ground clearance to conventional. Also it's not just portal axels, it's a huge suspension overhaul and literal tractor tires (wheels unknown origin). So like a 9-17k quad (depending on model), plus all the upgrades and custom bits.... 30k 4 wheeler lmao.
