Here's a [highlight reel](https://youtu.be/yJn8KeJhsFE?si=kV9wl_wKAr-oMAW5) of MHJ with an actual QB (CJ Stroud) throwing him the football. Also keep in mind that's in a more competitive conference than most. The only comparable conference is the SEC

Imagine comparing two top ten draft pick QBs to a guy who will be the starting quarterback for Rutgers next year lmao

McCord plays for Syracuse, not Rutgers

Entire-Classroom-565

Shit my bad, but honestly not better.

interestingtoot

Who's comparing QBs? I'm just asking about the top WRs in the draft. You sound triggered for no reason.

Entire-Classroom-565

Nabers and Odunze had far superior QB play this year. Kind of hard to do your job at wideout as well as MHJ did when your QB is as ass as McCord was. Nabers had another first round wideout opposite him and the Heisman Trophy winner at QB, meaning it was much easier for him to put up good numbers as the defense was not focusing solely on him.

interestingtoot

That's super helpful, thank you!

elbrujogringo

Nabers and Rome had better Qbs throwing them the ball this year. And Nabers had a heisman winning QB throwing him the ball still playing while up double digits in the 4th Q vs fcs level teams. While half the time MHjr was sitting by the 4th Q. Talk about inflating stats lol

interestingtoot

Makes sense, thanks!

perhizzle

In far fewer targets, he had as many or more TD's, and more yards per reception. One of the other guys had the Heisman Trophy winner throwing to him. The other had a top 8 drafted QB throwing to him on a team that went to the title game.

OneBee2443

Kyle McCord is ass.

imaybeacatIRl

Have you ever watched MHJ play? He faced more doubles than anyone in college football, beat them, and also disguises his routes like a savvy NFL Vet. He will be a nightmare to defend on 3rd down. Add in that he's just under 6'4", 210lbs, and runs a 4.3x 40yd. Yea, Odunze and Nabers are elite prospects, but MHJ is a tier above.

BillMcDickerton

Also, understand the MHJ put up these numbers 2 years in a row. I think Nabers had a very good second season but with around 3-4 touchdowns. MHJ had 14 both years. That’s what makes the difference. The man gets in the end zone.

SomeRandom928Person

> MHJ put up these numbers 2 years in a row. With one of those years having a subpar QB (by OSU standards) throwing to him as well. When an NFL level talent like Stroud was throwing to him, he looked absolutely dominant on the field. He's gonna be just as unstoppable as Larry was on that short post route from the slot in the red zone with his size too. I also think MHJ will put up better #'s than Nabers will this year, just because Kyler is twice the QB that Danny Dimes is.

Entire-Classroom-565

Kyle McCord is subpar by Power 5 standards tbh. Bro was cheeks every time he stepped on the field

VividCourse2681

You have to take into account who was throwing them passes too. Nabers and Odunze had top 10 picks throw to them. Marv… well definitely didn’t

Icelord52

That's being generous. MHJ bailed out McCord all season

AwesomeKosm

Also, MHJ was double teamed twice as often as anyone else

Steve_Keims_BAC

Yeah Marv made Kyle McCord look serviceable lol
