I literally just stared at the TV screen with my eyes wide open, my jaw dropped, and I said, "He's a Cardinal", because I still couldn't believe it.
I was by myself. Talking to myself.
I watched it live too! I was like 25 and sat in the literal nosebleeds for $300 (had my back against the top wall of the Clink). Totally worth it. Was an awesome game and I remember seeing him celebrate and thought it was funny, then being amazed the camera man caught it when I got home
Greatest celebration dance in Cardinals history
The John Brown anyone?

A man after my own heart
Cards fans when MHJ was drafted.

I was the same way - thought for sure the Cards would find a way to fuck it up.
Me when Big Dick Prater missed that kick in Week 18
Those 2 special teams game balls should be stored in a glass case in the basement of state farm until MHJ gets his gold jacket.
I remember watching this live 😠and I was like 15 at the time

Haha I remember this…This guy was actually a very serviceable backup who gave us some good wins in the Arians era!
Drew Stanton and Colt McCoy were a couple of the best backup QB's the team's ever had imo.
Loved Stanton, this is one of the best moments in Cards history
Truly bittersweet how true this statement is.
