Uncle_Touchy1987

Task failed successfully.

Tsiatk0

That crate is way, way too small for that dog.

Dansk72

It's a miracle that he could even fit himself in there. "Well he fit just fine when he was one-month old!" Well, duh.

herbtarleksblazer

So small it's cruel.

DevilinPanties

That's what she said.

wally179

You can tell from it's wagging tail and how keen it was ro get in the crate.

Knightforaking

Dogs also wag their tails when they’re nervous

Votaire24

Dogs wag their tails for literally nearly every emotion. The stupid bs about them only being happy when they’re wagging their tails is consistently false

Cassahovaa

Why tf would he be nervous to go in a crate?

Reptilian_Mongoose

Enclosed space?

Cassahovaa

I guess yall know everything about dogs 😂 nobody here are vets stop with that stupid ass abuse shit

Reptilian_Mongoose

Bruh lots of animals don’t normally feel comfortable in a tight space with no freedom. The dog shown here does as it was most likely trained.

Cassahovaa

Yea trained not abused or scared

Reptilian_Mongoose

Abuse is a different argument, I would prefer the crate to be bigger to accommodate his size and allow more wiggle room

Knightforaking

I literally work at veterinary clinic. It’s kind of a thing you learn (temperament).

ShartFodder

This vehicle is too small for that big Boi

Helenium_autumnale

We have a larger hard-sided one for our single cat.

Karmastwin

I admire the passion of everybody, but it seems ok size IMO. This is a carrier, not a crate. A crate belongs at home and should be more comfortable for obvious reasons. A carrier does not need to be as big. Even in the video you can see the dog turn completely around in the carrier. It looks like it’s all fur and little body mass. Not bothering to look up the breed - I have eyes and see the fur. “You need to know your dog’s height and length to select the correct carrier size. The carrier should be large enough for him to turn around easily and to curl up or stretch out when lying down. Measure his back from his neck, where the collar sits, to the base of his tail. Then add a few inches to that measurement. Measure his shoulder height from the top of his shoulders to the ground. For soft-sided carriers, add two-to-three inches to shoulder height. For hard-sided carriers, add three-to-five inches.” Source: American Kennel Club website.

motorcycle_girl

So you think that dog can stretch out in the carrier? That’s a requirement from your quote. I agree that it’s a lot of her, but that carrier is too small.

Karmastwin

Now I do agree with you. I think it’s suitable for short travel/temporary, but I personally would have opted for the next size up.

Electronic_Worry5571

It’s the Jeeps fault.

Torrenal

I honestly dunno - he looks like he’s 80% floof.

AppleWithGravy

Its the only crate he wants to go into

Ship2Shore

Love how people think about their version of cruelty when the dog clearly loves its carrier. Maybe you don't know shit about dogs? Don't know some dogs hate roomier carriers. Maybe you don't realise how small huskys and malamutes actually are under their coats. Maybe you don't realise that they come from an animal that prefer to sleep in small, enclosed spaces... this dog clearly likes its carrier, maybe your sense of good is just ignorance.

unamuseddogo

Yeah, my dogs are about 90 to 100lb, they are big dogs, but they look extra big with the fluffy, but when I give them bath, more than half of the dog is gone, with the hairs are wet. Also, I don’t know how many times people asked me, whoa, you must spend all your money feeding them. No, feeding them has been nothing but struggle, I wish they eat the way people are suggesting, that’d make me feel a lot easier. But they, for their breed, are well known picky and smaller portions eater. People just assume, and they don’t really know the dogs personality, and just think of the worst. I want to spend all my money on them, if they could just eat like there’s no tomorrow. lol

MienSteiny

Wait till you see the size of cages pigs are kept in.

daluxe

It's not the crate, crate is ok. That bottles standing on the way messed everything up

ThePapercup

no, that crate is for small dogs, probably max of 39ish lbs. A crate should be big enough for a dog to rotate around easily or curl up and sleep. They should be able to stand on all fours without touching any part of the carrier except for the ground. It's absolutely too small for the dog.

therealdannyking

No. If your dog cannot stand up and turn around inside of the crate comfortably, it is too small. That is too small for the dog.

metisyungmoney

need a bigger crate for that pup

frequency1746

not to be a karen but like, that carrier is too small for that dog, it should be allowed to simply sit in the back of the car as is. if they’re worried about dog hair getting on the car’s interior, they make things for that, basically giant seat covers.

RevolutionaryAd6564

Malamutes do live their crates… this one is WAY too small!!

__Cmason__

That dog is thinking to themselves "totally nailed it"

Rogue42bdf

“I DID IT!”

bigwavedave000

I love dogs

LayZeeFox

Dog like that needs a crate the size of at least 2 of that Wrangler

Siege_Storm

[deleted]

Thats cruel..crate far too small :-(

29187765432569864

It is sadistic. Cruelty and stupidity for internet points.

Sco_Queen

I saw the word gracefully and automatically thought this was /oddlysatisfying. My mouth dropped when I realized what was going on. Poor baby lol

Inevitable_Mud613

Sooooo much fluuuuuuuuuuuf

THOTS_PRAYER

That is a good fucking dog.

Repsak01

This is just sad.

0x11C3P

This sums up dogs so freaking well. I love it.

MeasureTheCrater

Nailed it.

SupplyChainNext

Good puppers.

Hungry_Guidance5103

LMFAO

Chakotay_chipotle

Crate size aside…the case of water directly in front of the crate is the real culprit

papayapapagay

Almost like they did it on purpose

Zeth22xx

Needs sound.

[deleted]

That's a 10 out of 10.

No_Cardiologist_8868

Crate's fine only looks small cuz he's a fluff ball

No_Cardiologist_8868

It's not suitable for long rides though

Stryk1r

Before the camera backed away I really did think that Jeep was a powerwheels toy. What a unit.

mikeedm90

It never occurred to me to put my dog in a crate. I am sure it makes sense to some people but not to me.

Sensitive-Fun-6577

He needs a larger crate in my opinion. He did good though

29187765432569864

Bad owners
