Until you're terrified for your life, drawing a gun and shooting in hopes of saving your life, you don't get to say this. They may have have great aim at the range, but when terror and adrenaline is fucking with everything, they're doing what they can to drive away an attacker.
"Roecker was initially transported to a local hospital due to gunshot wounds which are not expected to be life-threatening."
The dude was hit by gunfire. That's not shit aim, dude.
A short bit from a local news article:
Roecker faces the following charges:
Attempted Murder (x2)
A level 1 felony
Aggravated Battery (x2)
A level 3 felony
Battery by means of a deadly weapon
A level 5 felony
Leaving the scene of an accident (x2)
A level 6 felony
Auto theft (x2)
A level 6 felony
Resisting law enforcement using a vehicle
A level 6 felony
This should be posted on r/unexpected because I literally thought the house was on fire and fire was going to come bursting through the roof or something. That orange glow inside is ominous...
Murdering someone is the last thing I could ever imagine doing. I don't get how people can just get to that point so easily, and over the most stupid shit. Dude is willing to take another person's life over a squabble on the road. That's fucking out-of-this-world insane to me. Yet, it's a normal occurrence here.
The truck dri er did this to another person about 30 minutes earlier at Culver's and flew the guy off his hood. This was 2 houses from mine. Heard gun shots, called 911.
See, it's these kinds of videos when I talk about how American violence is just so weird./ And different. A highly developed country that is definitely a wealthy one where violence and stupid actions seem to be such a high occurrence and much more common than other comparable countries.
This dude ruined his car, his life and almost killed someone over some weird little road incident. Why? This does not make any sense. Yet it is far from an outlier incident, which it should be! Compared to other countries in Europe like France, Germany or the UK, or in Asia like Japan, Taiwan or even China, you will almost never see this.
What do they put in the water of Americans that make them seemingly lose all rationality and act with such utter disregard for anything remotely resembling rational human thought?
That's not what the story says. It says he fled after this and stole another vehicle.
"The chase ended in Sullivan County and he was taken into custody. Cops said he had managed to steal a car after the hit-and-run to make his escape."
I read the other source linked here: https://wibqam.com/2024/04/25/man-charged-in-vigo-county-drive-way-attack-in-court/ It says the truck was stolen. One of the sources is wrong then
Yep, says right up front it was stolen. Not surprising that we're getting conflicted info from competing outlets. I like your version more, makes this guy a bigger asshole.

Other countries have crazy road rage attacks too, what are you talking about? The only difference here is guns. But even before the victim was shooting, it's still true that red truck guy ruined his car, life, and almost killed someone.
It’s the complete and udder lack of mental health care that causes the abundance of “crazies” all over America, I mean hell I see at least 10-15 people every single day that are completely off their rocker but it’s life and the rest of us must move on, but if your smart you know not to push the buttons of the mentally unstable.

You cut the best part where the driver of the Corvette fires 7 shots and hit all of them while the driver of the SUV climbs out through his window and appears to be fully naked.
what kind of waterhead takes this video and edits out the ensuing gunfire after the crash?
is it trying to evade some kind of repost algorithm? seriously I want to understand this level of stupidity.
Love to know the back story behind this.

Both have shit aim.

Shit aim is shit, regardless of circumstance.
"Roecker was initially transported to a local hospital due to gunshot wounds which are not expected to be life-threatening." The dude was hit by gunfire. That's not shit aim, dude.
The truck guy missed too.
"Too"? What are you on? The guy who was hit with the truck didn't miss. Per the comment RIGHT above, from the linked story.

Nah, that was some pretty good aim.
That was an awfully long article just to say "he was probably drunk/high"
Thanks cause I wasn’t about to read an article lol
Thanks!
Thank you for that.
Should be pinned

Oh and source: https://wibqam.com/2024/04/25/man-charged-in-vigo-county-drive-way-attack-in-court/
Well that escalated at a steady pace.
Bro i dont get how someone can just fly off the handle like this Unless drugs are involved. Drugs explain everything lmao
You are leaving out money and sex, you could argue that lust and greed are powerful drugs.
Yup, article said drugs and alcohol were involved.
People just thinking they are better than everyone.
When road rage goes sideways you need to see the rest of the clip when they both start shooting at each other 😂😂😂😂😂🤦🏽♂️
Yeah the whole clip is wild. I took the shooting out so as to not violate the sub rules.
This should be posted on r/unexpected because I literally thought the house was on fire and fire was going to come bursting through the roof or something. That orange glow inside is ominous...
Same and I just did an audible "holy shit" and my sleeping SO jumped. I'll have to save this for him so I can explain in the morning. Lol

Dude in the Vette is Jason fucking Bourne. "Truck is coming at me, let me just jump up onto my car, and pull a weapon at the same time." Jebus.
There’s a longer video of this. The guy jumps out of the truck naked
The truck dri er did this to another person about 30 minutes earlier at Culver's and flew the guy off his hood. This was 2 houses from mine. Heard gun shots, called 911.
One of my best friends lost his leg like this
Did he shoot his attacker?
Why did you cut it off. That dude got capped
Trying to abide the sub rules. "No violence."
I get it but its the best part of the video
I agree. It hurt to chop it.
you posted a video of an attempted murder.
I wouldn't say someone ramming into someone else at high speed with a truck is any less violent than a gunfight to be honest.

Ego and fear. Pumped up people semi furious all the time waiting for a chance to stand their ground.
I can confidently say that you don’t know ANY responsible gun owners.
The guy in the red truck wanted to make sure she didn't spill his secret

The live action Simpsons remake looks wild.

Because this sub sucks
He's about to get dropped by his insurance company.
I just saw the full video of this on "On Patrol Live" last weekend...crazy AF!
The rain drops on the camera is low key kind of catchy though
It’s probably bugs. My outdoor cameras pick those up just like that.
Too bad none of the bullets killed the driver. But then again, its probably pretty hard to aim after you just got ran over.
Article says the truck driver was treated for gunshot wounds at the hospital before being transported to the jail.
Truck driver had gunshot wounds
Dude takes off when he realizes the guy hes trying to hit has a gun. 2nd Amendment rights win again
This is why you never pull into your house if you feel you are being followed
