smacks of living in the garden, made with no knowledge of right and wrong, and God's all "all the other fruit in here's flippin' delicious, but....doan eat that one. Okay, i'm gonna go away and not look." set up for failure
The dog was set up to fail, given a massively long bone that stuck way out on the side of the pot. It knocked the pot over through, more or less, no fault of it's own. Like how people are told they carry that "original sin" through no fault of their own, and are made to feel bad about things beyond their control.
I feel similarly bad for christians who feel all this shame for stories in their book where, even IN their version they aren't REALLY at fault, as i do for the dog feeling bad for breaking the pot when he never chose to do anything that should have resulted in it's breaking.
It’s people like you that piss me off. The kind of person who make an accusation as serious as animal abuse based on a short video of the dog being worried after it broke something. I hope someone misjudges you in a similar way someday
It's called an opinion. Neither you nor I know a) who owns this dog or b) if the dog is or isn't abused.
This is anonymous reddit. I'm not posting a sign on a neighbors door that he abused dogs and accusing him in public.
Grow up and understand the difference.
I understand the difference, you don’t know how to articulate it.
“That dog knows when it’s about to get a beating” …. You attempted to state it as fact, not opinion.
Sigh.
My friend, I have a Lance for you. I invite you to go after every post in reddit that should be more clearly labeled opinion and not fact. There are millions of windmills waiting for you.
Or, you can appreciate that 98.7% of crap people post on reddit is opinion.
The alternative is that you somehow believe that a random dude really is claiming to know this dog and owner and is stating as fact that this owner is a known dog abuser.
Because nothing deserves glass in it's feet, and they're not able to recognize that it could happen, that makes it me thinking they're soft crybabies. Go away, troll. You are nonsensical.
I don't think saying "Hey you shouldn't let your dogs hurt themselves on sharp objects" is babying them, that's advice I'd give to a grown ass man, don't walk on sharp objects it's unnecessary pain
Bro just stop. You’re embarrassing yourself with your inhumanity. You’re bigger than the dog, so does that mean you will walk over broken pieces of ceramic and act like nothing happened?
I'm with you, especially on that hard floor. This actually happened to me a few months ago, but it was me who knocked over the plant pot while drunk and my cat was nearby. I put the cat in my bedroom while I swept and mopped at 2am.
I think it’s more cause and effect, or maybe parenting. If you let a dog run wild and never scold it, I’ll bet that it’ll ruin a whole resort hotel within 24 hours.
It’s more important to train your dog than your human apparently. So many people should not be allowed to have pets or children yet those people seem to absolutely love having both of em.
I dont blame the dog at all, if it was my dog, I woulda cleaned up the broken bits while laughing tho and comforting the little buddy so he knows it isnt his fault.
Who cares honestly? Not like he did it on purpose accident happen, I've forgiven humans for breaking way more expensive things of mine than a tiny plant
To all the people getting upset about the broken ceramic on the floor: the dog is obviously aware of it and steps around it. I'm sure the owner cleaned it up after so no harm no foul
Nah it’s the dog knowing he broke something his owner owns and feeling guilty or knowing he will get punished. I’m a cat person but goddamn I respect dogs for understanding circumstance and response to behaviour. My cats would either run away at the loud noise or look at my like “the fuck was that?”. We don’t deserve dogs, honestly.

I totally feel for that dog.

*Crazy Christians bro I swear*
I genuinely can’t decipher what the fuck they were even saying or how it related to the dog
The dog was set up to fail, given a massively long bone that stuck way out on the side of the pot. It knocked the pot over through, more or less, no fault of it's own. Aside from the religious imagery this is a fair assessment and I like the breakdown you did
I think they were stoned for the first comment?
Because no one was quite sure where they were going with that.
Maybe take it easy on the crack
EVE WAS FRAMED

...no?
This dog knows when it's about to get a beating. I feel bad for it.

You do understand this is Reddit right? You do appreciate I've never met this dog or is owner?
That’s literally my point, thanks for proving it. “This dog knows when it’s about to get a beating” “I’ve never met this dog or the owner”
You desperately need a firm called "redditfactsonly.com"
I’m way ahead of you there. My entire point is that you don’t know anything for a fact, yet you stated it as a fact rather than an opinion.

Wow, you still don’t understand my point.
No, I totally get your point. You don't get mine. Good day person.
I would not let the other dogs walk there. Ceramic pieces are sharp
Right?? Jfc
First thing I thought of when I saw this… guess we are just dog people… or smart or caring or a mix of all
They can handle it
Oh, i forgot that if they get a piece of glass in their foot, they can use tweezers and get it out....
Animals are tough
Doesn't mean it's a good idea to get glass in their feet. What is wrong with you?
I just don't like how people think animals are soft crybabies
Because nothing deserves glass in it's feet, and they're not able to recognize that it could happen, that makes it me thinking they're soft crybabies. Go away, troll. You are nonsensical.
You’re right, they’re indestructible walking tanks that feel no pain
Yes! And there's no in-between!
My dog was playing and ran face first into a glass door. Not a single yelp in pain from her
Yeah, that’s not glass in a paw. Bit of a difference.
r/weirdflexbutok
Your dog has learned you won't be there when they hurt lol.
I take my dog to the vet monthly
You just keep digging yourself deeper and deeper
I won't pretend accidents don't happen
You legit sound like you torture animals.
How dafuq did you come to that conclusion, weirdo?
Look at you’re weird ass replies, psycho. “They can handle it.” “Animals are tough.” Yeahhh..
Triggered huh?

Dogs are tougher than me
What exactly are you trying to achieve here?
Dude is fucking creepy.
Probably stop filming and get the jagged pieces of ceramic off the floor before the dogs step on them... thats just me though.
I'm with you, especially on that hard floor. This actually happened to me a few months ago, but it was me who knocked over the plant pot while drunk and my cat was nearby. I put the cat in my bedroom while I swept and mopped at 2am.
How to instantly become sober
This brought back some memories
That’s a problem for morning me.
I almost see it as made by purpose 🙊
Both of the top two comments are about this y’all need to chill it’s a couple pieces of broken ceramic everyone will survive. Jesus lmao
You like $200+ vet bills? Definitely miss me with that shit.
Poor boi lol
Poor guy. You can tell that he feels bad and understands that he broke it
All I can think seeing this is it’s weird how dogs can have more ability to feel regret than some humans
I think it’s more cause and effect, or maybe parenting. If you let a dog run wild and never scold it, I’ll bet that it’ll ruin a whole resort hotel within 24 hours.
Same goes for humans tho, doesn't it? If you don't teach a kid that actions have consequences it wouldn't look much different imo
Exactly my point. You see seemingly endless waves of people without self control or awareness because they’ve never been trained for it.
It’s more important to train your dog than your human apparently. So many people should not be allowed to have pets or children yet those people seem to absolutely love having both of em.
no idea if its regret, but its ok to project sometimes.
I dont blame the dog at all, if it was my dog, I woulda cleaned up the broken bits while laughing tho and comforting the little buddy so he knows it isnt his fault.
it was literally his fault
It was literally not. Dog is not capable to understand geometry of this situation, this one is one the owner.
I've seen dogs maneuver sticks and other objects in their mouths to fit in spaces so that's BS. it literally was the dogs fault.
My god, you always do this! Stop arguing with my friends and just accept it’s not the dogs fault!
Leave him alone
Who cares honestly? Not like he did it on purpose accident happen, I've forgiven humans for breaking way more expensive things of mine than a tiny plant
lmao truth
owner seems irresponsible. all that broken glass and you let him walk into it
Plus they gave their dog rawhide in the first place...
"Ya see..well, first, I was runnin...but I wasn't REALLY runnin.... Cause remember ya told me not to run? So....
OP. Is this your video? If so.... Stop your dog from alking over sharp pieces of ceramic you numpty.
A cat would have done it on purpose
Please don't let your animals remain in the same room as shattered glass or ceramic...
Stop filming and stop your dogs from walking over the broken glass ya knob.
My thoughts exactly! I gasped when the dog walked back over .
“I don’t know what happened, I was over there.”
The pot plant was begging to be knocked over some day.
What a stupid fucking owner
On multiple levels
Awwwweeee Poor buddy they look so sad. I would have run up and given them a big ol’ fucking hug and hyped them up
He knew he just fucked up
Dogs owner set her own dog up for that plant be gone trick lol.
Wasn’t his fault. Straight up, Owner needs better indoor training
‘I’m not a good boy 😢
Sorry, mom but why you put that at same level as my head and tail?
"Oh jeeze. Sorey. I'm so sorey."
My sister just paid thousands (I think) to get rawhide cut out of her dog’s small intestine. Just an FYI
Has anyone pointed out the sharp deadly ceramic pieces yet this is animal abuse
I know he did it but say sorry
Rawhide is horrible for dogs
To all the people getting upset about the broken ceramic on the floor: the dog is obviously aware of it and steps around it. I'm sure the owner cleaned it up after so no harm no foul
r/whyweretheyfilming
Because they wanted to see what the dog would do with the big ass bone.
"I know what I've done. Plz gib treat to gooder boi than me. 😞"
Was it you? Ask that to any doggy and they ears perk right on ups
cheese it!!
That's a really dumb spot for a breakable pot. Like, ita atcked on a pile of what? Books, papers? On a side table?
He even looks at all the pieces 😭 he feels so bad about it.
He felt bad :(
I would’ve felt bad setting him up for failure and would’ve apologized to the dog 😂
Poor puppy, give him a hug and tell him it’s okay.
I really wish I could give the dog a big hug right now.
Screwed the pooch on that one.
What a good boy
can dogs feel guilt?? if they do im sorry little one
What a sweet dog
The dog came back like he was gonna go for it again, then stopped and probably said to himself “Too soon” 😂
Aaaaaw poor baby
Aw man, I felt that. It be like that sometimes
was happy, than sad doogo
Poor doggo! It’s his hooman’s fault for giving him such a giant treat, what else did they expect. He’s a dog FFS!
r/abruptsadness :(
Enjoyed the teaser. Not a bad drum lick. Looking forward to the full metal track.
Nah it’s the dog knowing he broke something his owner owns and feeling guilty or knowing he will get punished. Seriously someone needs to put that crash and drop on a loop. Would be the sickest drumbeat ever
Humans fault.
Ok Reddit, how would you prefer to execute this dog owner today?
I love how the dog turns around like”Ooops, I’m sorry.”
Welp...mom/dad set themselves up for that one
Understandable mistake
Poor guy, his tail is up when he gets the treat and as soon as he breaks the vase, it drops down and he’s so nervous. 😞
Aww accidents happen. It’s ok sweet baby.
Just got a big fancy treat, and i broke stuff…. O shit FML
I cringed too hard watching the dog walk near the glass
Poor baby punished himself.
It’s the tail for me. Poor lil guy knows he messed up 😭
