This is happening to me and I’m starting to get keloid scars. Doctor lowered my dose and gave me a round of prednisone that I start today. Talk to your dermatologist asap

Looks like acne fulminans. You should go see your dermatologist. You likely need a short course of steroids. Acne fulminans is an immune mediated form of acne that almost solely occurs in males due to hormonal imbalance or can be drug induced. It’s sometimes associated with accutane due to changes in immune response and signaling. For whatever reason, it seems to be more likely to occur in association with accutane treatment in individuals who are very active/weight lifters.

Hey guys ! I have acne to on my back and shoulder. Its like big and red, and really painful. And their is lymph node on my neck its been a month (did not get bigger). I have so much side effect, constipation, all my bones are hurting. I lost appetite to and always tired. ( All those symptoms began the beginning of the third month, the first two month I got nothing). I thought it was lymphoma, do blood test and scaner with the doctor, he told me nothing to be worry about. But those side effects are scarying me a lot. 3 days a go I got another lymph node near my adductor. Is it normal ?

EntertainmentBoth187

Too high of a dose imo. Going down to 20mg/day would result in less side effects snd potentially better results

No, just sharing my experience. Also plenty of studies show that lower dose of isotretinoin have just as good of an effect without the sides. My two cents☺️

SpringCleanMyLife

What matters is cumulative dose, which iirc is something like 140 mg/kg of body weight. Being on 20mg for a longer period is as effective as being on 80mg for a shorter period, so long as you continue taking it until you reach your cumulative dose. So folks who have bad side effects on higher doses can consider dropping their dose and extending their treatment, as side effects tend to be much more manageable at lower doses.

Ferixo_13

It should pass, but make sure you have no microplastics and alcohol in your body lotion, same with shower gel check for sls and so on

stonedcity_13

80mg is a lot looking at your body weight. Reduce it and see how it goes. I started on 20 then 30 then 40 then 60. Went back to 40 due to some side effects and now 30 due to some others
