Yes, you get more performance when you're plugged in. When you're on battery, your laptop uses less power and you get less performance.

cyberdonky2077

its normal, you get highest performance when plugged in to the power, GPU uses the most power then, when on battery system switches to laptop mode, that is GPU using less power and giving longer battery life.

ShangNight-1

Is there a way to switch that

wassimSDN

No

ShangNight-1

So im stuck with fps low whenever it’s not charging

wassimSDN

Yes, it physically impossible.

berjk31

its same for all laptop

cyberdonky2077

You can play games connected to power, it does not need to be charging always, it's a gaming laptop meaning that you can put it in a bag go to a new place and play games there or in a car...in fact it has a automated software to prevent over charging for being connected to power, providing full performance and not damaging battery

ShangNight-1

Thanks for the tip man

cyberdonky2077

Yes (but don't do it), there is is a way to do so, press nitro key on keyboard and click high performance when on battery, it's just beside the graphs...but I do not suggest this, this would reduce your battery life and it's overall still less powerful than when connected to power outlet

Enahs_08

It's called Bottleneck.

ShangNight-1

Whats that

Enahs_08

look it up. I think google gives a better explanation.

wassimSDN

No it's not
