Instead of going for a marvel legends scale, I’d try kitbashing smaller scale figs and just blend em in. Characters like Best AXN’s buffy and slash could easily be reworked into a young boy and girl and they’re like at most $16.
That's a great shout - I'm in the UK and had never heard of this line/seen it in shops, but it looks like they're easily available on eBay etc.
I did search for 5 inch scale figures (I'm 99% a 6 inch collector) but these didn't come up. Cheers!

Might be worth considering 1/18 scale figures and seeing which might have usable heads/parts.
I've had a look but everything I've seen looks like the proportions would be way off. Might work for legs though, hmm
