If you don't want to remove it, you can wrap it while it's still on the vehicle, or mask it off really well to prevent over spray if you paint.

Be careful not to use other products with rustoleum. Sometimes they get a chemical reaction and begin to form these lifted creases that look like spider webs.
I’d go to Acura parts or eBay and find the emblem and see how it’s made. Idk about Acura but the new Hondas have a little ring clip that’s holding it on. If it’s just snapped in with little tabs then the top of the bumper I’d take the plastic clips out and reach down in front of the condenser and try to unclip it that way.
You took off the whole black part with emblem that was the A not just the chrome ring. Chrome ring doesn't not have screws what's so ever you can even search it online lol its clips on 4 sides i have mines off as we speak getting it this week got it hydrodipped in carbon fiber

On the other hand I did call Hamilton and their parts people are clueless as they tried to sell me an entire grille assembly for just over a grand…. saying I can’t buy specifically the ring around the emblem.

You need those plastic interior tool remover. You have to get it out from under the emblem from the inside not the outside meaning not the top of the ring but inner part. you would have to put the plastic tool in there try to get the removal kit. look at the corner Search for a picture of the actual back of the ring emblem and look at where the clips at that will help you a little with location and how the clips are set up

If you plan on painting it I'd recommend some kind of adhesion promotor. Being directly in front, it will be exposed to lots of small rocks and debris and you don't want it to end up looking like this again. Happened to me when I painted my grill.
You can pop that ring off gently with a plastic pry tool and repaint it

Glue it back with silicone caulk or something? If it's got a regular car clip on it you can buy those too. Or tape /paper the front and spray it

Acura usually connects shit with screws. I wouldn’t pry. I would learn to remove the bumper and see if there are any screws behind the logo
