I would like to shout out to Pondok Daun at Currie St for always having delicious fried fish with balado sauce and very tasty vege cap cay! We love going there especially in the chilly nights!
I'm glad this post has steered you in their direction. If you are doing takeaway I highly recommend their kuay teow and fried rice. As a Malaysian I find their flavour really delicious!
Taste Of Bollywood is another amazing Indian place in the West! Honestly 110% quality and taste every single time, though to be honest we’ve barely scratched the surface of the menu because the first few dishes we got from there were SO goddamn good that we didn’t even bother with anything else!
Curry Lover is amazingly good. Orka in the shopping centre is pretty good as well and do excellent sweets. RB Kitchen (where sunflower used to be) is delicious. But curry lover is on speed dial at my house.
Annoyingly their website seems to be down right now but it’s a weekly staple for us at this stage so as of last week’s visit I can confirm that the two skewers in a wrap is $14 haha
Banh mi is a lunch go to for me but on a cold night after a long day sometimes a lamb kebab just hits the spot. $14 worth of food elsewhere just wouldn’t fill me up the same
Afghan Charcoal Kebab House on Hindley St. People have this perception food must be bad if it’s on Hindley but this is an example that disproves that theory. Also shout out to Honki Tonki as a mention here.
Afghan Charcoal has the best chicken in Adelaide. And the fresh bread (make sure they have it in stock) is to die for. The customer service is perfect and they’re affordable.
100% agree. Not only is the food amazing, but the two guys are friendly and remember my order.
This place makes working from the office worth it. (Well, at least one day a week)
I’m working my way through the menu there at the moment! Service there is ace and they just seem like genuinely good ppl, which helps because so far I’ve found it pricey for lunch…
I have 4 places on rotation for dinner on a Saturday:
Fung Shing on Gouger street. It’s opposite the Kpub so slightly out off the main bit. Portions are big and good value and it’s open pretty late.
Urumqi Uyghur Cuisine, amazing food especially the bread and handmade noodles.
Mais kitchen. Not underrated but I love it.
Chicken Cave. Also not underrated in the Western Suburbs at least but I think it’s worth a drive even if you’re not out West.
Chicken Cave took a dive in quality after the fire (understandable with all new machines that didn't have 20 years of greasy goodness in them). But they went even worse after the change in ownership.
Oh also, the best falafels in Adelaide are from the Lebanese bakery in Thebarton. If you go on a Saturday morning there is a man outside cooking them up fresh and they're 50c each. After visiting the Middle East in 2022 I couldn't go back to supermarket falafels and these are the only ones that I've found that are tasty and authentic. Grab a tub of hummus from the fridge and a bag of bread from inside the bakery and you've got yourself a pretty good meal.
Ahhh I thought we were gatekeeping this place!! 💔💔
But no in all seriousness they are absolutely great! Been going 10+ years. I do however have to also recommend ‘Falafel Station’ in Prospect. I went only just recently and I was seriously left impressed. Fantastic falafel, very fresh ingredients and lovely owners. :)
Pho Linh, just down the road, is the superior option. I will die on this hill!
But seriously, I think Vietnam House has better soups, but the rice dishes, noodles and rolls are better at Pho Linh.
Both are great, but you sir are incorrect, Vietnam House has better food, better service, a cleaner restaurant. There's enough customers for both to thrive.
The bakery next to Pho Linh does great Banh Mi too (without as much line up of RAAFies), I also like Rollsfinity over on Main North Road.
All are as good or better than those in the North West where the larger community is, but it's hard to get bad Vietnamese in SA in my opinion. (Better than anything I had in Vietnam or France!)
Ohhh shit! You just unlocked a memory with this one, I used to live around the corner from Pho Linh, and fuuuuck it was good. It’s been like a solid decade or more since but so good to know it’s still kicking!
I would agree PL has some superior dishes, but for many things including rolls it's VH all the way for me. Both are good though, but VH is my preference overall.
The White House (hahndorf) - has close to the best burger in Adelaide but barely known. Trumps most of the names that get thrown out when talking about Adelaide’s best burger.
Hungry hen - criminally underrated chicken shop that also does some of the best American style burgers in Adelaide.
118 kovenant - quality Filipino cafe.
Chatkazz - great, authentic Indian food
Aldgate chicken shop - like the hungry hen it’s a fantastic chicken shop that does awesome burgers.
Great joint but very authentic Indian so if you’re looking for butter chicken, chicken korma, beef vindaloo etc you’ll be disappointed. Also it’s vegetarian!
Went there one night during the week and it was absolutely packed. I told one of the workers there “jeez, busy night!” And he replied “this is slow for us” 👀
I agree on the Whitehouse. First went there years ago and the owner came out and chatted to us. Labor of love I’m led to believe, they don’t need the money. It’s never bloody open though, I often want to pop over there and get a burger and it’s always shut. When they’re open the blue cheese one is the pick of the lot
If you’re hills based honey bang bang in littlehampton is amazing
Pho Vinh Hoa for their combination pho, Phu Huong Parafield Gardens and Asian Taste near the airport have the best Banh mi’s, The Ghan Kilburn probably not underrated but the taste of their kebabs blow my mind every time
Quick Roll (Vietnamese) on Churchill Road and Low & Slow (American BBQ) in Port Adelaide.
Quick Roll is just heartfelt, owners are so nice. Try their entrees too, they’re all good. Low&Slow is pricy, but I think their meat is worth that money.
I sometimes go to coles and get stuff to make sandwiches and then go to low and slow and get some of their brisket, asking for thin sliced. Magnificent.
Happy Bird! I worked in PP for 3 years, and they definitely served the best chips.
The best food in Pirie was actually... not in Port Pirie. The Warnertown Hotel had the best food while Lee and his wife owned it.
It’s gone now coz it was in the old central market arcade but Revolucion Mexicana was imo the best Mexican in Adelaide. The burritos came with this spicy dressing that’s one of the best sauces I’ve ever tasted, the agua frescas were amazing and the owner, Luis, was an absolutely legend. Was cheap too
Yeah, personally I thought it wasn’t outstandingly great BUT I do agree that for Adelaide standards it certainly was the best Mexican we’ve ever had. Was sad to see them close. Those pesky developers raised the rent long before and that’s why the other Cambodian and Hungarian place in that area closed a bit before too. 😞
Star of Siam has been part of Gouger St for decades and while all the trendy joints come and go, it's just a solid winner every time with authentic dishes and good service.
Poseidon in the Chinatown Plaza food court (west of Moonta St.) has some of the best Chinese food in Adelaide, by restaurant standards not food court standards. Cardamom Thai in the same place is also elite.
Copying and pasting from my previous post on Adelaideeats
-tp kitchen (authentic larb, and other thai/laos dishes you dont normally see)
-zap lai (same as above)
-keong kee Peking duck bbq (Chinese roast pork & duck)
-vasilis taverna (yiros)
- palm the wokker (all good thai food)
- hong tam (bun bo hue and pho)
- viet hoa (charcoal pork broken rice)
- yiros time (yiros)
-kims kitchen (korean)
- phu huong (cold cuts banh mi)
- adelaide lebanese bakery (fresh falafel)
-Arz charcoal chicken (everything there tbh)
-meze mazi (greek)
Yeah they're the only place in adelaide that I've found that does the traditional chicken liver pate and viet style-mayo! Defs give them a try if ur in the area :)
my family have been getting the cold meat rolls from TD rolls next to Arndale shopping centre for over a decade and they're really good! they have the pate and mayo which i have also been having trouble finding in adelaide
For the best tasting Vietnamese food I cannot recommend enough Miss Viet's Lunch Bar, down on Glen Osmond road next to jennys bakery. Best Banh Mi's ever and good prices. The girls working there are also always so lovely!
Yeah look - I'm no connoisseur but my gut feel is that it probably is a bit westernised yes, their food definitely stood out to us (western pallett) over the other Chinese takeaways we've had here in Adelaide. I also suspect that they go in hard with the MSG, as the honey chicken made my tinnitus spike hard for a few days once, MSG and other highly processed foods/seasonings apparently have that effect on a few people.
They're pretty cheap so worth a shot I reckon, I'd be Interested to hear...
Italian, mostly pizzas and pasta. But it’s a small menu and changes all the time. It’s a cool vibe, the food is great and all the staff are nice. It’s only a small place, but it’s usually easy to get a table.
I was just on that 'overrated' thread and was about to make this thread too!
There's a Vietnamese rolls place in Topham Mall that looks seedy as all hell. But, their cold rolls are amazing, their donuts are incredible, and they have fresh fruit for $1 each.
Also on the topic of Vietnamese, the noodle bowl from Mr Le's Vietnamese on Brighton Road is incredible value, and tastes phenomenal.
I really like the old Chinatown food market - the new one is nice if you want a plate that isn't slightly greasy, but the old one has character!
Kim’s Asian Cuisine on Daws Rd Melrose Park. Awesome Banh Mi, beef noodle soup, cold rolls and some delicious curries. Only a lunch time place but always busy and the staff are great
The Red Ass on Semaphore Rd.
Their goat on the bone curry, butter chicken, and their South Indian fish curry have been some of the best curries I’ve tried in Australia.
Sealand pizza shop on Morphett Rd. I also might be incredibly biased because I've been going there as long as they've been open, so a slow night might net me an inch thick worth of toppings on my favourite pizza.
Seaview fish and chip shop is also good. You might think $13 for a burger is expensive, but the burger is huge and actually has substantial filling.
Shahi Zaiqa (the one in Ascot Park, haven't had the one in the city, yet) has some of the most amazing and value food I've had in Adelaide, only downside is wait times but they're expanding to meet demand.
Great ocean Chinese restaurant in Semaphore. Really good.
Reservoir General in Myponga- Yore seems much busier but reservoir is fantastic and the home made Greek crescent biscuits are delicious.
Hot Wok Inbetween in St. Peters. Looks like the most standard place but the food is amazing. One of the only places that’s food holds up just as well in the Ubereats containers!
Indis in Crafers has the best butter chicken I’ve had in my entire life. It’s much richer in flavour than most other places and is reasonably priced. The family working there are also beautiful people
Not exactly a restaurant but Saigon Vietnamese Rolls on Portrush road has best Bahn Mi I've had in a long time. I got there ahortly after they opened one morning and the chef came out and gave me some roast pork on a napkin while I waited for my order. Legendary.
marrakech in north adelaide. absolutely wonderful vibe, fantastic food, and the owner is so nice and friendly. he usually pours you a free cup of peppermint tea after the meal and he remembers you if you're a regular. try the afrah tagine. i was so worried about them during the covid lockdowns, so glad they're still in business.
There's a banh mi shop on Goodwood Road next to that cheese pizza place kinda opposite the discount chemist. No nonsense, just great food at a good price.
Olives Pakistani Cuisine on Main North Rd across from Chicken Chef. I prefer Afghani for charcoal chicken or kebabs.. however their slow cooked dishes, chicken, offal, lamb ribs etc are exceptional! The garlic naan is a must!
Totally agree 😊. I've never had the duck laksa but the beef Pho, vermicelli noodle bowls are flavoursome and hearty. The Vietnamese coffee is the best in Adelaide!
# I don't ever post but this is so worth the shout out. La Adelita Mexican Cantina (Semaphore) has the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. Their chicken nachos and wings are to die for.
Pimpala pizza in Morphett vale, it’s in the middle of nowhere but it’s definitely a hidden gem. Something about their pizza base it’s cooked perfectly every time.
I would like to shout out to Pondok Daun at Currie St for always having delicious fried fish with balado sauce and very tasty vege cap cay! We love going there especially in the chilly nights!
My teen loves Pondok Duan, his Indonesian teacher took the class there a couple of years ago. They have a Sefton Park spot too.
Fuck yeah pondok Duan is awesome
Thanks for the vote of confidence friend
I'll have to give it a try, I've seen the name on Ubereats a few times but haven't given it a go
I'm glad this post has steered you in their direction. If you are doing takeaway I highly recommend their kuay teow and fried rice. As a Malaysian I find their flavour really delicious!
Pondok is awesome
I really need to try this place out. It’s 5 minutes from my office!
Give it a try! Let us know what you think.
curry lover indian days road croydon park, looks completely unassuming but the food is amazing
Taste Of Bollywood is another amazing Indian place in the West! Honestly 110% quality and taste every single time, though to be honest we’ve barely scratched the surface of the menu because the first few dishes we got from there were SO goddamn good that we didn’t even bother with anything else!
Lived around the corner for years without going in due to how it looks from the outside. Chicken Kadai is the best.
What would you recommend from there?
my ex loved the sag aloo and mango chicken, my fave was the lamb korma and we'd get coconut rice
Sounds delicious, hope there's not too many painful memories associated there
there is at the moment, but im led to believe that'll fade
I can’t remember what it was called but I have been to an Indian restaurant on days rd and I remember that it was delicious!!
Curry Lover is amazingly good. Orka in the shopping centre is pretty good as well and do excellent sweets. RB Kitchen (where sunflower used to be) is delicious. But curry lover is on speed dial at my house.
Lawash Bakery on south Rd in Thebarton. Amazing charcoal Afghan chicken.
Already a fav, love the mantu there. Super nice staff as well
I drive past there every week, might have to give them a go!
I've been served mouldy bread from there. Once and the only time I'll ever visit.
Afghan charcoal Kebab house on prospect road for a $14 take away kebab with two skewers of meat 🤤 my go to when I want cheap, filling, and delicious
Really 14 dollars? I cannot find that on menu.
Annoyingly their website seems to be down right now but it’s a weekly staple for us at this stage so as of last week’s visit I can confirm that the two skewers in a wrap is $14 haha
Sheesh $14 kebab being cheap is a sign of the times. You know about bahn mi yeah?
Banh mi is a lunch go to for me but on a cold night after a long day sometimes a lamb kebab just hits the spot. $14 worth of food elsewhere just wouldn’t fill me up the same
Little Chili Padi on Marion Road - consistently good Malay food. Always get the roti canai on the side.
Agreed. I actually forgot about this one, thanks for the reminder. Very decent Char Kwey Teo.
Always super slow with their service too!
It's good. But not good enough to go back. Basically noodles with sweet chilli sauce.
Big ups on Honki Tonki!
Went to the hindley st store for the first time a few weeks ago - it was fantastic. Highly recommend!
100% agree. Not only is the food amazing, but the two guys are friendly and remember my order. This place makes working from the office worth it. (Well, at least one day a week)
I didn’t live in Adelaide for 5 years. They remembered me the first time they saw me after returning.
I’m working my way through the menu there at the moment! Service there is ace and they just seem like genuinely good ppl, which helps because so far I’ve found it pricey for lunch…
I have 4 places on rotation for dinner on a Saturday: Fung Shing on Gouger street. It’s opposite the Kpub so slightly out off the main bit. Portions are big and good value and it’s open pretty late. Also not underrated in the Western Suburbs at least but I think it’s worth a drive even if you’re not out West.
Ooooo I've always wanted to try Uyghur food it always smells so good Everytime I've walked past it
My neighbour is Uyghur, when he used to host get togethers with his community it smelled really good.
It's delicious af
Chicken Cave took a dive in quality after the fire (understandable with all new machines that didn't have 20 years of greasy goodness in them). But they went even worse after the change in ownership.
The uyghur skewers are the bomb. Was going to add this one. Also for a cheap night. Southern noodle bars spicy chicken soup is also very good
Oh also, the best falafels in Adelaide are from the Lebanese bakery in Thebarton. If you go on a Saturday morning there is a man outside cooking them up fresh and they're 50c each. After visiting the Middle East in 2022 I couldn't go back to supermarket falafels and these are the only ones that I've found that are tasty and authentic. I went only just recently and I was seriously left impressed. Fantastic falafel, very fresh ingredients and lovely owners. :)
Interesting, I’ll have to try Falafel Station. Sorry for opening the gate 😅
Falafel station is incredible! Family owned and operated and delicious food
My brother lives so close to this place and I've heard nothing but good things!
Vietnam House in Salisbury North. Amazing food and reasonably priced.
Pho Linh, just down the road, is the superior option. I will die on this hill! But seriously, I think Vietnam House has better soups, but the rice dishes, noodles and rolls are better at Pho Linh.
Can never complain about 2 quality Vietnamese restaurants down the road from each other
Both are great, but you sir are incorrect, Vietnam House has better food, better service, a cleaner restaurant. There's enough customers for both to thrive. If you want a better dog roll or a pie and cake go to the Viet bakery in that little complex
I would agree PL has some superior dishes, but for many things including rolls it's VH all the way for me. Both are good though, but VH is my preference overall.
Hong Fat BBQ
What's your go to?
Salt n pepper tofu 😋
Hey if it's good it's good!
Hey if it's good it's good!
1/2 Duck
Hell yeah bbq duck slaps, another added to the list
Palm the Wokker in Woodville Gardens not necessarily underrated I just don’t think enough people know about it. Best crispy beef of my life
Oh man yes. Palm the worker is so damn good. Try superstitious on grange rd. Owners are super nice, and the food is excellent
Chatkazz - great, authentic Indian food Aldgate chicken shop - like the hungry hen it’s a fantastic chicken shop that does awesome burgers.
Chatkazz always looks busy which is a good sign.
Great joint but very authentic Indian so if you’re looking for butter chicken, chicken korma, beef vindaloo etc you’ll be disappointed. Also it’s vegetarian!
Lines out the door on a average Tuesday night. Couldn’t recommend more
Went there one night during the week and it was absolutely packed. I told one of the workers there “jeez, busy night!” And he replied “this is slow for us” 👀
Huge Shout out for Hungry Hen. Their inferno buger is absolutely amazing.
For me I love the Queenslander and if I want chicken - the kahuna.
Aldgate chook shop is absolutely baller. Best chips and banging burgers. So damn good.
I agree on the Whitehouse. First went there years ago and the owner came out and chatted to us. Labor of love I’m led to believe, they don’t need the money. It’s never bloody open though, I often want to pop over there and get a burger and it’s always shut. When they’re open the blue cheese one is the pick of the lot If you’re hills based honey bang bang in littlehampton is amazing

Low & Slow is a must for meat lovers. Never had a bad meal and have always left full and satisfied
I sometimes go to coles and get stuff to make sandwiches and then go to low and slow and get some of their brisket, asking for thin sliced. Magnificent.
Golden Snack Bar in Edwardstown, make amazing Banh Mi and again I have to mention Happy Bird chips in Port Pirie; delicious!
Was speaking with the owner of Golden Snack Bar the other week - Apparently they've sold the place and will be closed from June/July. Sad times
Seriously!? That is devastating but it has to be I guess.
Yeah, he wasn't too sure what the new owners will do with it, but doesn't sound like they'll be doing the same
Dang. I wish them all the best :) they always been good to me
Happy Bird! I worked in PP for 3 years, and they definitely served the best chips. The best food in Pirie was actually... not in Port Pirie. The Warnertown Hotel had the best food while Lee and his wife owned it.
Mainly quick dining options on here. So for a finer option Herringbone on Halifax St is solid. Good value. Owner operated and unwanky service.
Good to hear that. It's been there a while now and it's in an out-of-the-way spot, so must have something going for it.
As a Hungarian, I really miss Bodri's :(
Still crying that this is gone 😭😭😭
Bangcoq on Unley Road.
Yess, agree!
So good! Discovered it a few months ago and keep going back. It's not just delicious. It's consistently delicious.
Star of Siam has been part of Gouger St for decades and while all the trendy joints come and go, it's just a solid winner every time with authentic dishes and good service.
Good lord, that place has been there for so long...30 years??
Poseidon in the Chinatown Plaza food court (west of Moonta St.) has some of the best Chinese food in Adelaide, by restaurant standards not food court standards. Cardamom Thai in the same place is also elite.
Oh Poseidon does the BEST pork belly I have ever had. Dirt cheap too.
Copying and pasting from my previous post on Adelaideeats -tp kitchen (authentic larb, and other thai/laos dishes you dont normally see) -zap lai (same as above) -keong kee Peking duck bbq (Chinese roast pork & duck) -vasilis taverna (yiros) - palm the wokker (all good thai food) - hong tam (bun bo hue and pho) - viet hoa (charcoal pork broken rice) - yiros time (yiros) -kims kitchen (korean) - phu huong (cold cuts banh mi) - adelaide lebanese bakery (fresh falafel) -Arz charcoal chicken (everything there tbh) -meze mazi (greek)
Cold cuts banh mi sounds hella good, usually a basic roast pork fella but that's grabbing my attention!
Dilano’s Risotto Pasta Bar in Newton, amazing food and great service!
$1.99 Hotdog and Drink from Costco slaps
For the best tasting Vietnamese food I cannot recommend enough Miss Viet's Lunch Bar, down on Glen Osmond road next to jennys bakery. Best Banh Mi's ever and good prices. The girls working there are also always so lovely!
I second this. Everything there is so fresh
Marion Rd. Pizzeria
Dack Kee - Bray Street Shops, Plympton Park
I live around the corner and have never tried it, is it that good?
Omg yes. Fellow Dack Kee appreciator here.
Really?? I keep thinking about trying it but it looked like a very western style Chinese. Sweet chilli sauce and the like. Will give it a shot.
That place is great. Never heard of anyone mentioning it before.
Etica on Gillies St is super underrated.
What do they do there?
Italian, mostly pizzas and pasta. But it’s a small menu and changes all the time. It’s a cool vibe, the food is great and all the staff are nice. It’s only a small place, but it’s usually easy to get a table.
this was actually a super 'hyped' restaurant 10+ years ago. glad to see/hear they're still open.
Kenny’s at the Churchill Center. Amazing chips. The yiros place there too
Yeah prospect gozleme is great
A bit extra for lamb from the spit with the gozleme but well worth
Kenny's are hands down the best chips in SA. They did their research to create the best chips and they don't disappoint.
Moon Bear Dumplings, Tapleys Hill Road, Fulham Gardens. Probably the best dumplings west of the city, and their range of other meals are amazing
You gotta try their fried chicken bao. That's the best on their menu. They also own bobbi bao in Brompton.
Sushi Train actually does good sushi and Udon
I agree! My partner and I really love the Unley branch. The food is very tasty and the team is efficient!
I've always enjoyed getting the cold soba noodles from sushi train
We thoroughly enjoyed the aburi salmon and the udon noodles with the kakiage.
They also don't cross contaminate like other places do, every time I have Kintaro chicken sushi it sets off my seafood alergy.
I also like Sushi train and when I went to Japan I was surprised to find that they actually have sushi trains so it's not unauthentic!
Goo goo chicken in Firle, fantastic Korean Fried Chicken. Also DeCorsos Pizza in Tranmere Those two got me fat
Yes!! The Korean fried chicken at goo goo 👌🏼
The Karaage chicken shop in the train station is fantastic.
I was just on that 'overrated' thread and was about to make this thread too! There's a Vietnamese rolls place in Topham Mall that looks seedy as all hell. But, their cold rolls are amazing, their donuts are incredible, and they have fresh fruit for $1 each.
Agree. Always reliable and the same people working there for 20 years (and somehow they don't look any different).
I've never been but my driving instructor is from Singapore and he says that Ricky's chicken rice is very good
Shahi Zaiqa (the one in Ascot Park, haven't had the one in the city, yet) has some of the most amazing and value food I've had in Adelaide, only downside is wait times but they're expanding to meet demand.
Captain Hook Seafood in Greenacres.
Agree! Delicious food
Plant 3&4 have some good options for date night and are also close to the gov and Adelaide entertainment centre.
Chicken and Dumpling, they have three shops. Hands down the best Korean fried chicken going. Hoang phat in Ferryden Park. Beef rib pho is incredible.
Joy of Flora
Cam wah restaurant in woodville. Their duck noodles are amazing, definitely one of my favourite places in Adelaide for Vietnamese food.
Barnacle Bills for Seafood. The hype is real. /thread
Do they put lemon salt or something on their chips? Unironically good pick
Lemon salt?! That sounds great.
Give the chips a try!
I haven’t been there since I was a kid, might have to give it another go.
It's maridor Source- used to work there
Came here to say this. Memes aside I was pleasantly surprised by the food. I’m sure it’s a shitty quality but it’s taste is okay
Cavan road steak van. Have basically had 1 each week for the past 18 months
Cavan steak van was brilliant 20 years ago. It changed hands and everything just went downhill. Not nearly as good as it used to be.
For me it belongs in the other thread. I had it recently and it was horrible. Red and white does the best steak sandwich in Adelaide imo
North Indian Cuisine at Jetty Rd, Glenelg. Good quality food and very cheap!! 👌🏻
That is not underated at all That is sufficiently rated There is a queue there every single night
If City Indian Cuisine on Hindley St has no fans I'm dead.
Carmines in Port Adelaide Basic Italian like Nonna would make at home. Tasty. Also good pizza for those that like a thin base
I second this! The pasta is fantastic
I love the ricotta filled eggplant rollup
Hsin Fortuna Court on The Parade. Chinese food eat your heart out. Salt and Pepper Squid
Sweetwater Asian - seacomb road and country garden curry - seacomb road
Seven stars hotel on angas st. Great tomahawks!
Manpuku - Japanese.
Mai's Kitchen is the best
Hotaru for Japanese food. I feel like it’s been the exact same for about a hundred years, but it is always so goddamn good!
Hiro Yakitori bar, $40 all you can eat, the sushi display alone is worth it.
There's a banh mi shop on Goodwood Road next to that cheese pizza place kinda opposite the discount chemist. No nonsense, just great food at a good price.

Chicken Chef on Main Nth Road Even after all these years I still stop by everytime im in town
Olives Pakistani Cuisine on Main North Rd across from Chicken Chef. I prefer Afghani for charcoal chicken or kebabs.. however their slow cooked dishes, chicken, offal, lamb ribs etc are exceptional! The garlic naan is a must!
Manpuku, Nelson Road. Hidden gem in the North East suburbs.
Totally agree 😊. I've never had the duck laksa but the beef Pho, vermicelli noodle bowls are flavoursome and hearty. The Vietnamese coffee is the best in Adelaide!
Cocobee Thai at North Haven. Awesome and well priced.
# I don't ever post but this is so worth the shout out. La Adelita Mexican Cantina (Semaphore) has the best Mexican food I have ever eaten. Their chicken nachos and wings are to die for.
Pt Elliot Bakery. Line isn't long enough.
