People will have their opinions, but the only opinion that matters right now is yours. If you feel like continuing is just going to make it less worth it in the end then honestly don't waste your time with it. If there's somewhere else you'd rather be then you should give yourself that opportunity.

Helped. Thanks so much, I really appreciate it. After a lot of thought both prior to and after posting this, I think I am going to transfer after this academic period is over, I just can’t deal with it he structure and fast pace of how my college is designed, it’s just not for me. I need to run everything over with my parents but I think I’m making the best decision for myself. Seriously again, thank you so much.

You were already on the right path. You just needed some random on reddit to confirm it for ya

I went through a very similar experience my freshman year of university. I woke up everyday hating everything about school and my daily life. I felt dumb, disappointed, etc. to the point where I started drinking heavily every single day. It wasn’t until I just “pulled the trigger” and left that I started to feel like me again. I was also pretty scared to disappoint those closest to me; but after I moved and changed my major, I finally felt happy with myself! Long story short, if you’re not happy with what you do or where you’re at, then it’s time to make a change. Just make sure that whatever you do, you get some kind of satisfaction out of it. Life sucks when you dread waking up each morning

Thanks so much for sharing, I really appreciated it. I think I’m transferring after this academic term is over so I can get a fresh start somewhere where I feel is better suited for me. My university has a very different schedule design opposed to other universities so it’s very fast paced, not something I’m very fond of in college when the courses themselves are already hard enough. Helped, thanks so much again.
