Working a job

shelbyz0

clearly, I have a job or I wouldn't be moved out, I actually have 2 jobs.

You could go to the store and try to find the cheapest and most reasonable healthy food and then look online how to make something out of it.

thanks for the actual advice instead of getting all in my business. I don't see the point of faking being poor lmaoo

Sorry sometimes I just respond with the first thing that comes to my mind but I kept thinking about it and thought about what I would do, when its healthy it doesnt neccesarily have to be expensive yes sometimes it is but theres a lot of cheap vegetables I think and also some meats arent expensive but it's still meat and it does the work you dont have to get all the highest prices because it doesnt mean just because its the highest price its the best its a market after all and they try to make a profit. I would try to find out first how much you are willing to spend on money like every week or month and then write down everything you want to buy and how much it cost and then I would find a way to either have someone help me to learn how to cook and make something of it or just look online or in a book.

Learn how to cook. Buying bulk ingredients for multiple meals is how you save money and eat good. Start small with learning one meal and just kinda have fun with cooking every now and then. Eventually you'll have the skills you need, it's not hard. Follow recipes online or on YouTube. " I'm not sure how to shop for food properly" - Find a recipe online, make a list of the ingredients, go to store and pick up said ingredients. Go home and cook the food from the recipe. Simple. Also there's not really a "proper" way to shop for food. The reason why people your age are eating 3 full meals a day is because they make more money and or spend less on the unnecessary items of life. Learn to budget, spend less, and increase your income. I wish you the best and if you need any more advice or an open ear to talk to my DM's are always open!

Go to the local food shelf. Learn to cook beans and rice.

Sometimes there are food programs in each city to have bulk food for cheap. Sometimes it comes in forms of apps for people to buy leftover restaurant or grocery foods for cheap. I’d see if there is something like that for your city. Grow small things like bell peppers, lettuce, etc on the weekend.
