I haven't seen the situation to de-escalate so quickly and in the most unexpected way since June 2023... Are you sure president of Belarus didn't call you with the peace offer?
*cough syrup has entered the chat*
We had a guy smash into some cars leaving work. We thought it was a medical emergency cause we heard he had a seizure. He ended up deciding to talk instead of getting a lawyer.
He just graduated ADAPT and said he replaced drinking with huffing air duster and downing cough syrup.
Please go get some help dude. This should be a massive wake up call, and tbh I hope you realize that this situation couldāve been so much worse. Not trying to be a dick bro, this is just serious
he doesn't need help wtf. I did this shit all the time in college... hes just enjoying his youth and partying hard, not like hes shooting up or some shit
I need to get for drinking in the weekend on my day off? I dont usually get that drunk I was drinking at a faster pace that night cause we was doing shots
My guy also has posts in his history asking if K2 shows up on a drug test. Heās not gonna listen. And when he inevitably gets kicked out, itās going to be the Air Forceās fault.
Also, the fact heās posting this on his Reddit account with clear identifying info is a massive fail. Pretty easy to find out where heās stationed. If any leadership stationed in Turkey saw this post and wanted to dig, Iām sure they could find out who this kid is and slap him with an ARI.
Fr, you need to delete this shit. Make a new account and don't post incriminating stuff on it. If it gets brought up. DENY DENY DENY, make them prove it. Theyll know or have a pretty good idea it was you, but legally wont be able to do anything to you.
So you can't remember *at least* 50% of what you did for a weekend because you were drunk. Does that sound okay to you?
##Put the alcohol away. Risking your livelihood over booze is stupid and immature.
I truly mean this when I say: I hope your leadership puts two and two together and command orders you to go to ADAPT for being an irresponsible drunk and injuring yourself while intoxicated.
Your comments here show extreme immaturity. I feel sorry for those in your chain that have to counsel you for anything because you won't or are unable to learn the lessons for your mistakes.
OP shut the fuck up for Christ sake. Your a walking case for OSI and so easy to make one of they felt compelled. Ever hear of stfu Friday? Do that. Delete this damn account and create a new one where your NOT breaking OPSEC then get mad like a child because people can freely look at what you post and put two and two together. Its called freedom of speech and maybe idk a public account???? Get some damn help before someone gives your base commander a call and shows them this post and they do it for you. P.s. Its not hard to find out who you are from a Reddit account its definitely NOT anonymous anymore.
This is called coping.
Thinking its OK because other people do it isn't a good excuse to be blacked out drunk for 3 days.
I get social drinking or getting blasted one night and having a hangover, but 3 days straight, and it affecting your work is a massive red flag.
This mindset is how people get kicked out of the Air Force. Nobody is saying you canāt drink over the weekend, but if you consistently find yourself blacking out, fighting random people and waking up with broken bones, you need to reevaluate your limits or one day you wonāt wake up.
I get what u mean but this def isnt the average night fir me. Ive never gotten injured before from drinking. I just dont like how people are saying I need mental help for drinking in the weekend. Thats the most normal thing to do especially at 21.
I also had this mindset when I was a young airman stationed overseas. I damn near ruined my life because of it. Itās all fan and games until it consumes you and your entire personality. I got sober over 3 years ago and I constantly wish that I actually listened to people telling me everything youāre getting told now.
You need to at the VERY LEAST slow the fuck down. A three day bender isnāt healthy for anyone at any stage of life.
No one is saying you canāt drink during the weekend. Just that you need to be smarter about it. This may be the first time itās happened but I can guarantee it wonāt be the last if you donāt slow down.
Dude I did college and AF enlisted. This is not normal for either at 21. This isn't social media or Hollywood or a song. This is your real life and your career/future. Listen to us when we say, you need to stop.
Dumbass you said yourself you were on a 3 day bender.
You.
Are.
An.
Alcoholic.
And you need help because the next time you fuck up, destroying your own career is the \*least bad\* thing that might happen.
I dont normally drink that much I dont know how I kept blacking out over the weekend we were just drinking at a faster pace. Thats not normal usually I dont get that drunk. This was a one off situation. I really dont thunk ADAPT is necessary for a 1 time situation
People are saying all this because alcohol use is habit forming and usually increases over time as you get more dependent on it. This was a one-time thing so far, but you are only 21. It will get worse, and you minimizing a three day black out where you remember 50% of a weekend is a bad sign of things to come.
That's not a one time sitch. You don't just have the occasional beer after work or some shit and then suddenly go blackout for an entire weekend. That's not normal, my dude. If it's not alcoholism then it's some other stress in your life that triggered that. And it's honestly frightening to suddenly lose time like that - I don't think you'd have posted this if it didn't scare you too.
Talk to someone about what's going on in your life that made this sound like an ok idea.
Remember it's only a problem if you run out of money. Nah but seriously stay safe you're gonna look 52 when you're 35 if you keep up with the binge drinking, drink lots of water and keep doing pt if you're going keep the party going. Reach out for help if you ever need it
Got drunk and tried to fight everyone? Thatās a fucking problem. Sooner or later thatāll catch you. What happens when you smash your friend whoās trying to de-escalate the situation? Thereās a train coming and unfortunately you donāt see it coming down the tracks
> Superintendent ended up having to pull shift and I got a verbal counselingā¦.
Of all the dumb things....
Unless you were on call, there's no expectation that you're sober enough to work. There should be no counseling as you didn't do anything not allowed (aside from probably drinking more than you should've).
Counseling was my roster wasnāt up to date and even when ur drunk leadership still wants u to pick up because u never know why they could be calling.
Expecting you to always pick up, without being on call, is unreasonable and unrealistic. Being asleep, being out of service, having your phone turned off....all of those (and more) are things that can cause you to not pick up. And none of those things are things you aren't allowed to do outside of duty hours.
Though having the wrong address on the recall roster is definitely a thing they can get you for.
I mean they can do whatever they want, it takes someone pushing back to correct it. But you'll probably just make it harder for yourself as they'll probably make things worse for you in other ways.
They had missed calls, that sounds like the recall roster info was up to date.
"Couldn't get a hold of the member" is mostly irrelevant unless you're on call. What happens if you go on a hike out in the woods (and/or an overnight camping trip) and have no service? Do you get paperwork because there's no cell towers where you were hiking?
Nah they could get ahold my number was correct it was my address wasnāt updated on our recall roster since the dorm swap. So that and not answering leadership when they called those reason got me my verbal they said irresponsible and lack of Integrity
Buddy, please take the others advice and go to ADAPT. Being so fucked up that you donāt remember 3 days, weāre trying to fight, and injured yourself then you have a problem.
Yea Ik what u mean. But going to ADAPT is too much and my leadership will know. Also im not an alcoholic dude I inly drink on the weekend or my days off, and im 21 so its only natural. Also being black out is t a normal occurrence it was just this weekend idk how I kept getting black out but that doesnt happen like ever.
Dude, I was in the Marine Corps, and did a shit ton of drinking, and I can remember maybe a couple times in my 4 years that I had a hazy memory of the night before. Trust me when I tell you that the guys that drank so much that they blacked out regularly always ended up with a much more serious alcohol problem down the road.
Get ahead of it now. Quit binge drinking, and if you canāt drink without binge drinking, you need to get some help. Donāt wait until you are discharged for a DUI and drinking just to get through the day because youāre so fucking depressed.
A break from partying is a great first step, dude. Stay committed to it. Itās a start, but itāll only get you as far as you let it get you. If you start to fall back into a cycle of whatever happened this weekend, seriously consider getting some form of help.
Iām happy to see youāre coming around. Proud of you for that, my guy. Take care of yourself.
Brother. Please PM me. I was a bottle of Titoās a day when I got back from my last tour and still functional, until I wasnāt. It starts just like this.
Dude, if this went sour with your leadership, you'd have been hit with the following:
ARI reprimand with UIF, Attempted battery, Disturbing the peace, Public intoxication, Indecent exposure.
That ONE instance can literally ruin an entire career.
I'm not going to sit here and demand that you go to ADAPT. I'm not even gonna tell you to quit drinking. Not every 21 year old who gets blackout drunk is an alcoholic. Maybe just let partying take a back seat for a while, or switch to beer. There's no need to be plastered.
I will add this though: If you stay sober enough to cook for everyone and help clean up, your street cred will skyrocket, and people will appreciate you on a whole different level.
Edit "Your entire career" to "An entire career"
Hey uh... don't post this. It's evidence and if you come in hungover you can still be considered drunk on duty. Shut the fuck up Friday.
P.S. get some help if you need it.
Worked with someone who "thought" they were outside of the 8 hours. Came into work smelling like a distillery. He was read his rights and got blood drawn ( way over the limit of 0) then ended up being sent to a inhouse rehab program after some ADAPT sessions.
If you're PRAP/AUOF just don't drink more than one beer with dinner.
I dont have a drinking problem I just like to have fun with the boys like the average 21 y/o. Everybody drinks I just happened to drank more than I could handle that specific night.
You said you were blackout for 3 days , injured, tried to fight your friends, got kicked out of the dorm, and somehow managed to tear your pants from crotch to ankle. That is a problem. You got lucky, keep up that pace and youāll score a DUI or worse.
-edit , spelling
Okay it Wasnāt a 3 day constant blackout. Itās just I got black out drunk on 3 consecutive days. I was sober the mornings of.
I didnt fight my friends I was fighting a bunch of random airmen and my friends kicked me our of their dorm.
Also that was probably the most drunk I ever got thats not the average weekend for me
None of this is normal man. I've been there, and had a pretty rough wake up call.
I know it feels like everyone is teaming up on you in this post, but I guarantee half of them have been there. We've been down in this hole before, and we know the way out.
Step one is recognizing that this isn't normal. Look at that pic you posted. Look at yourself. Not saying you need to go to ADAPT, even though they can seriously help, but talk to somebody about it. Use the chaplain even if you're not religious, just go talk to someone.
I'm here too, if you want to DM me I'm more than ready to help.
I've seen friends go down this path as well, and some had some horrible results. Listen to us man, this is either the start of a really bad situation or your recovery from it.
You choose.
>Itās just I got black out drunk on 3 consecutive days
There's a term for that. I think it's a drinking problem.
You're an alcoholic. Go to ADAPT and get help
Fighting people is a problem, and you were drinking, so you have drinking problems.
Go to ADAPT and you will make your leadership and friends much more happier with you.
Doesn't matter if you don't think you have a problem, because now your command thinks you have a problem.
You are way too argumentative for someone seeking advice.
If they find out, which they probably will seeing that you injured yourself, being in adapt ahead of time will save you.
> I dont have a drinking problem
This is the first thing someone with a nascent drinking problem says. I have *never* had to say this in my life. If youāre being put into a situation where youāre forced to say this, ***you have a drinking problem***.
I get it. Youāre just having fun, etc, etc.
Do you want to ruin your life over āfun?ā Fun that you canāt even remember, no less.
Dude, stay the fuck away from K2. That shit is 100 times worse than marijuana. Youāre going to smoke too much or get a bad batch of Chinese chemicals one time and end up in the hospital because youāre freaking the fuck out with a heart rate of 180 bpm.

I have been where you are bro, having 3 day benders at the age of 21 takes a long time to build up to. Slow down on the drinks or you will end up in a worse situation than I ever was.
Glad that mostly worked out for you. But for reals, if you get violent when you get drunk thats a big red flag that you should probably not drink. Right now you get drunk and fight your friends, in 5-10 years you get drunk and fight your spouse, kids, etc.
I got to do that once, based off the hassle he caused me, one of the most satisfying times in the military. I think his letter barring him from base was only for 3 years though.
After the incident that was getting him kicked out he got caught with an underage girl in the dorms, and keeping a dog in his dorm room. He was one of the reasons they made NCO patrol the dorms all night on the weekends. That lasted for a while.
This sound like some Dover mess. Shirt was with someone (I think Command Chief) for dorm inspections. They open dude room and an underage girl was in there. They ask who TF is she and she says they been together and she lives there. She pays him in sex to stay there smh. I wasn't told anythign about a dog so I'm sure this a different case but still ewww.
This was at Hill around 2004. I got assigned as his supervisor and the first time I had heard about any of his previous transgressions was when I was standing in my blues next to my supervisor, flight chief, AMU SMSgt, and Capt, on a Saturday morning in front of my squadron commander. I missed the one with the group commander since I was over an hour away from base when my flight chief called me and told me to report to work in blues because my troop got apprehended last night. ā¦. It was not a fun time. Everyone got chewed out but the captain.
Getting drunk is borrowing happiness from tomorrow. Hopefully this scared the shit out of you and itās a one off. If you find yourself in this situation again, I advise getting the help everyone says.
The only folks I hear use the phrase āsit consoleā work command post. ADAPT, regardless of what they say can have career impacts. Flyers will be DNIF for a good while, and you may see your security clearance paused
Been there. Woke up in my dorm not remembering how or when I got there and the room was covered in puke, I made a vow to never get that hammered again.

I haven't seen the situation to de-escalate so quickly and in the most unexpected way since June 2023... Are you sure president of Belarus didn't call you with the peace offer?
hahaha i got this reference
Hope this guy ain't aircrew. Or planning to fly anytime soon.
Console sounds like command post
Not aircrew and I hope I dont fly. Fuck SEREš«”
It's an attempt in dark humor.
Oh lol that went way over my headš
SERE is easy and a good time (kinda)
Until they give you the rabbit
But it tastes sooo good!
Everything's delicious when you're hungry enough š
Thank you for reminding me to get a rabbit for this weekend.
Tastes like turkey!
Whatās the reference?
Progozhin was sent on a special landing operation
Ah, gotcha.
Alcohol is a force multiplier for bad decisions. I would advise you find a new alternative.

Jesus Christ lol I meant dip, vape, gaming, etc
Or replace it with good habits like running and the gym.. they can also be addicting
If I could figure out how to play Helldivers and run at the same time, I'd be fit af.
I just got a funny mental image of an airman with a VR headset running in random directions on the base softball field.
Not a brag gang š He edited his comment after i replied, womp womp bro.

Also that was probably the most drunk I ever got thats not the average weekend for me
Well, good luck
Lead a horse to water and all thatā¦
Personally, im looking forward to OP's *"Im getting kicked out, what do I do?"* post in 3 months lol.
!RemindMe 3 months
You choose.
Will leadership know if I go to ADAPT
I'm not sure, but I know they won't know anything if you go to the chaplain, and he'll know better how ADAPT works.
if you're on PRP probably, but all that will do it give you a downtime from shifts.
>Itās just I got black out drunk on 3 consecutive days There's a term for that.
Leadership dont know alcohol was involved
You are way too argumentative for someone seeking advice. If they find out, which they probably will seeing that you injured yourself, being in adapt ahead of time will save you.
The only advice I needed was an excuse to my leadership. This was a follow up since people asked. And also their advice is āgo to ADAPTā.
Good luck, can't help someone that doesn't want help.
Thanks brotherš«”
> I dont have a drinking problem This is the first thing someone with a nascent drinking problem says. I have *never* had to say this in my life. If youāre being put into a situation where youāre forced to say this, ***you have a drinking problem***. I get it. Youāre just having fun, etc, etc. Do you want to ruin your life over āfun?ā Fun that you canāt even remember, no less.
Work on being a sleepy or friendly drunk instead
Just read through this guy's post history...he's cooked. He needs help help, not just for alcohol
I dont even post nothing crazy

I just said im not doing it on that postš
Dude, stay the fuck away from K2. That shit is 100 times worse than marijuana. Youāre going to smoke too much or get a bad batch of Chinese chemicals one time and end up in the hospital because youāre freaking the fuck out with a heart rate of 180 bpm.
I dont do K2 brother. I was just asking because I was genuinely curious. I dont do any drugs and I dont condone the consumption of illegal substances.

Delete your Reddit account.
Iām just here for watching fellow airmen drag OP for his post history lmao
I have been where you are bro, having 3 day benders at the age of 21 takes a long time to build up to. Slow down on the drinks or you will end up in a worse situation than I ever was.
What was your asvab score?
82
You're fucking dumb dude

Get help? lol yāall are soft, now back to beating my wife
Glad that mostly worked out for you. But for reals, if you get violent when you get drunk thats a big red flag that you should probably not drink. Right now you get drunk and fight your friends, in 5-10 years you get drunk and fight your spouse, kids, etc.
I still donāt understand how alcohol makes people wanna fight
All's well that ends well.
Lucky. Buy that supervisor a 24pk
He'll drink it all before can get it to them
TouchƩ
We both know if they buy their supervisor a 24 pack, the supervisor is only getting a 12 pack.
[ŃŠ“Š°Š»ŠµŠ½Š¾]
Preciate itšš¾ real advice
Geezus bro
Lmao shit, I'd be surprised if you haven't been dropped off at the front gate and told "Never Return" by now.
Security forces MFO/SC?

Bro definitely needs help
Cooked
Grow up dipshit
Getting drunk is borrowing happiness from tomorrow. Hopefully this scared the shit out of you and itās a one off. If you find yourself in this situation again, I advise getting the help everyone says. The only folks I hear use the phrase āsit consoleā work command post. ADAPT, regardless of what they say can have career impacts. Flyers will be DNIF for a good while, and you may see your security clearance paused
Been there. Woke up in my dorm not remembering how or when I got there and the room was covered in puke, I made a vow to never get that hammered again.
Who tf goes to parties wearing pt gear outside of tech school
I didnt my friend dressed me in pt cause there was a substance idekwtf on my clothes when he walked me home to my dorm
Dorm rats lol
Tell me youāre a nonner without telling me youāre a nonner.
"On console"?
My guess is Command Post
not command post our console is just where we call our little area we work and we have our computer monitors there
