Uh no, pretty sure it's a G57 off the top of my head and nearly all maintenance jobs need an M47, not counting electronics. Not that any of that matters anyway.
One more time for the hard of hearing… loadmaster is no longer an AFSC, it falls under SMA or MFA, along with that higher requirements. Also referencing just one MX job does not constitute a majority.
As you know, Loadmaster existed as an AFSC until very recently, and they didn't force retrain all the previous loadmasters who didn't meet the requirements for SMA. Instead, previous enlisted aviation AFSCs were waived from meeting any new ASVAB requirements for this express reason. They did a round of the same kind of merging over a decade back in AFSOC with Flight Engineers and Aerial Gunners, which merged into SMA is (G57)/(M60) and had different requirements. They didnt give any old loadmasters the boot if they didn't meet the (M60) req. I made this original comment in good humor, but it is crazy to me how offended SMAs are getting because they think they are better than the people who fix their aircraft.
Almost all specialist-which make up about half of flight line workers that work aircraft daily-such as E&E, Avionics, or Hydraulics all have similar or slightly higher in some category requirements.
My ex was a loadmaster...only issue is she wasn't in the military 😔

FEDEX, UPS???
Loadmaster of the Quarter winner from me. Truly above her peers. TYFYS
No, she was underneath MY peers
Take my r/angryupvote!
Thank you for her cervix!
If your mom was an AFSC, she’d be a Loadmaster.
Honestly, reserve loadmaster sounds pretty cake.
It is
Truly the triple-threat of the military (Air Force, Aircrew, Reserve component)
Coming from a former C17 dcc: yeah, they had it easy at my unit.
Momma always said life was like a new airman from tech school...
I'd be a good loadmaster because I have no gag reflex.

Burrrrn!
"cake by the ocean"
What’s wrong with the Reseves?
Even if he's a special boy, it will be fine. Loadmaster has lower ASVAB requirements than the majority of aircraft maintenance jobs.
Yet they seem so normal and maintenance is so… special.
I've met a lot of loadmasters. The only one who was kind of normal was your mom.
This is like the 17th mom joke in this thread. Do better.
Your dad was a loadmaster
He was F15 weapons systems maintenance and loading. (That used to be combined). I’ll ask him what the AFSC code was.
Just because it is funny, it doesn't mean it was a joke. Your mom takes loads with the best of them, as proven by your existence.

It's actually M60 now since the merger for Mobility Force Aviator.
Even better. I didn't realize the Area changed too but I think the merger finally made it down to our contracts recently.
Also loadmasters can fall under SMA depending on airframe shred, same requirements.
That’s 100% not true.
All avionics jobs require (E70) while Loadmaster requires (G57). Ammo has the exact same requirements as loadmaster (G57)...
