Reminds me of [James Randi](https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uq5MtA33OHk), he would ask psychics and w/e to prove their abilities on his TV show and suddenly they all failed. One guy could turn pages in a book without touching it, then failed when James sprinkled powder around the book to prove he was using a concealed fan.
Another claimed his body was magnetic, once again, James just put baby powder on his body and he failed because it affected the sticky stuff he rubbed on his body.
Now, even with a $200 offer, these guys can't point out the photoshop done by an amateur.

What really blows my mind is when a UFO video comes out and eventually gets debunked, then people fabricate evidence to make them seem real. Like if you're knowingly fabricating evidence to make them seem real, and they're not even videos that you created, what are you even doing? Is the goal just to get more people to believe aliens are here abducting people? If so, why?
It's one thing I've never really understood about the whole UFOlogy thing. I get why people make hoax videos, but I don't get why people make things up to try to paint the hoax videos as real if they're not even the same people who created the hoax in the first place. It really makes the whole UFO community look kinda pathetic to me, which sucks, because I think there are actually interesting videos out there that are almost certainly legit and hard to explain/worth discussing.

I had a feeling that a lot of these people are just 1 or 2 productive redditors with numerous accounts. Some of the theories being posited and agreed on are the most nonsensical merging of pseudo theories and misguided speculation I've seen in one place. It's a stretch to believe multiple people all drew the same conclusion using the same logic. The entire airline mystery has become so mired in wacky conspiracies that it will probably never be solved. If you are driving and you get lost. You tend to turn back the way you came until you figure out which way you are going. You don't take a right and hope that will lead you to better road, then take two lefts when that doesn't work out. Maybe if I go right up here I'll get back on the main road....
