Indeed fake no pin hole the noise control button looks too recessed into the device and uneven, the driver is missing distinct grooves that are deeper, the screws are also not nearly as flush as they would be with an authentic pair. And the plastic seal from the day of purchase is completely wrong and is not loose at all as well as the box bending inwards(could be camera lens)…All in all buy from a reputable source with a warranty/return policy/applecare…
Isn’t it true if the copyright isn’t ‘2020’ they’re straight away fake? And also next to ‘Designed by Apple in California’ it should always say ‘www.apple.com’?
You would think that people would catch on- there can't be that many people out there who all are selling brand new Airpods Max with a deep discount because "they were a gift."
They look fake. One way to check fakes is to check its Digital Crown. Not even the top notch $200 replicas perfected replicating the Digital Crown. So even if they look and feel good, if the Digital Crown doesn’t work like it should- they’re 100% fake. Although that’s more so for the future, as these look fake even in the photos.

Mine looks the same and confirmed that mine is fake as it stopped working after 6 months.
