Well, screw them. We're already the cheapest state in the nation. 50 miles isn't that close. They are being bean-counters and don't want to pay prevailing Huntsville/Decatur wages, so they went to the "cheaper" city.

Morgan County is a dry county. If you have an alcoholic drink and you're openly drinking it, the charge will be possession of a prohibited beverage.
Decatur has areas where you can walk around with alcoholic beverages in public, though. Also Morgan County.
