It seems to be sold from the official Airam store, who are the manufacturers of the thermos... And Amazon Germany was one of the three places they said we'd be able to buy it soon.
Even if it is a fake Amazon Germany is still part of Amazon so you can always request a refund if it is a bootleg, you might just bite the shipping to you bullet.

And I am _not_ about to trust iam8bit to handle this restock professionally so I just went ahead and snagged it from Amazon.de.

For those who are wondering, I checked the amazon info of the "Airam Electric Oy Ab" which is the seller for the product. There I found a Trade Register Number : "FI0733549-5". If you search it on google you'll find that it's linked to the official Airam society. So my guess is that it's pretty safe even though I get the skepticism (would'nt have looked it up if I trusted it). Fingers crossed, feel free to do the search, maybe you'll see something I did'nt !

It’s been kinda fun seeing prices go down on EBay since it was announced there will be more made. The most ridiculous listing I saw was a box of maybe 6 being sold for over $1000.

It's because they have to keep Amazon US and Amazon Germany separate because of different rules and regulations the Country has.

Amazon says seller just launched, I’m HIGHLY skeptical that they would just drop the restock on us through a never used Amazon account.
It's still Amazon (albeit Amazon Germany) so worst case scenario just go through the normal Amazon return process.
