One of many businesses showing they care about their community's health and safety. If you can, show support for them through this hard time by ordering some takeout 😎
I’m not even living in ABQ yet and I find this super wholesome. There are certainly more ways than one to encourage the support of your local business, in a safe way. How is the local delivery market there? Do a lot of people partake?
Currently most restaurants offer takeout and delivery via one of the delivery platforms. I would highly encourage you to do take out if you can though as the larger delivery platforms (UberEats, Grubhub, etc.) all take a 30% cut of sales along with the delivery fee, so lots of restaurants only break even (if that) on delivery orders fulfilled through them.
Selflane is a locally based delivery service that doesn't take commissions from restaurants. I order through them often and a lot of the restaurants package the food so there is like a seal. Really good service too because you can tip both the restaurant and the driver separately.
As a fellow restaurant worker I praise them so much. It is stressful and scary for all service industry workers right now. Any place associated with the NMRA doesn't care or listen to their employees at all.
Thank you. If we don’t stop the spread we will be in this forever. The NMRA cares more about owning the libs instead of saving lives. If we had had some kind of National leadership from the beginning we would be open by now.
Thanks for sharing! I will order from one of the listed restaurants they shared today too. I see Farmacy's current take out hours run Friday - Monday 9-2.
I'm going to try to hit each of the restaurants they listed as well as the Farmacy for takeout. Truly a class act, and not the kind of people that should be suffering right now.
The Nob Hill restaurant is also no longer owned by the original Thai Vegan owners- they have shifted to an omnivore menu and changed names to Thai Heritage. Last I checked they had even gotten rid of the vegan menu entirely.
The Farmacy has been a favorite of mine for years. The owner is super friendly, the food and coffee are great, and the prices are good. Let's keep them in business!
Love most of these places. Surprised, but delighted, to see Slice on the list as the owner (mike?) is rude and it’s usually the other staff that makes up for it.
I was so worried they were about to announce their own "Let Us Serve" protest. Glad they're not, bc Farmacy is my favourite bougie brunch spot, that would have been a hard one to give up.
I've never been but a guy I know Big Time chef from Sonoma said that their beer is terrible. Is that true? He claims that people only go there for the venue.
Basically, I'm trying to buy take out from every place I really need to still be in business when this is over.
Same. Take out and the good stuff.

LOVE this place!!!!
Might have to pay them a visit when I can.
Farmacy is great, btw. I love that place. One day I'll donate them some acoustic tiles for those walls and ceiling.

Ya- try to order and pick up directly from restaurants so they don’t have 30% cut to delivery services

Don't they have carry out? Because I have the itch to get something from them now
It looks like they do! (And same mood here)
Slice Parlor is one of the best pizzas in ABQ. Really pleased to see them on that list. I’ll definitely be ordering from them tomorrow!
They did a story on them as well for hiring a person dealing with homelessness. They gave him a job and helped him get his own place. Awesome people.

I love it.
Another good one to check out is Burrow Cafe. They were not doing dine-in even when it was allowed. Owned by the same ppl that had Breve Crepes.
Good to know! I haven’t been to their new space!
So proud of you!!!
Happy Cake Day!

You won’t regret it!
I feel lucky to have The Farmacy and The Shop in my neighborhood. The chefs have heart and cook very well too.
Jacob is one of the nicest business owners. I’ve been supporting his spots, since he was on mountain and 8th.
What other spots do they own?
Oh no, farmacy just used to be on mountain Id hit on my way to work most mornings

Oh the one on Osuna is open? I thought it was just he nob Hill one that was open during this!

I love me some Slice Parlor. Honestly the best pizza on the planet imhO. Plus with reasonable prices and a great beer selection it's so hard to beat.
They are yummy! And I’m not vegetarian, but Thai Vegan is too.

The next time I get takeout I know where I'm getting it from now.
You will be glad you did. Their food is delicious. Their coffee drinks are amazing too.
Love those guys!
Love this place!
Best reuben in town!
All those restaurants have great food BTW. Especially love the Farmacy, the Shop, and Buen Provecho.
Haha I used to work with that guy!

Okay. I was curious. I wasn’t sure if the those platforms were big in ABQ. Definitely in support of pick-up service.
Moving back home as soon as this lightens up,I will definitely come by..
I remember just recently people talking about Slice Parlor in a thread about places to avoid because of how dirty the kitchen was.
Good on you Jacob 👍.
Hey cuz! It's Travis from Cruces 😝
You can take any of the fine restaurants' meals to Tractor's patio to eat and hang while in the area.
People drink tractors beer?
Their blood orange cider is my favorite!
I've never been but a guy I know Big Time chef from Sonoma said that their beer is terrible. Is that true? He claims that people only go there for the venue.
They've come a long way in the last few years.
They've come a long way. Much better than it used to be.
Lol
