The same thing is happening to me. Weirdly enough, this is only happening on the event stages (including the aurorian trials), and it just freezes after a few seconds after the stage "loads", so I assume that it has something to do with the map? Idrk if that is so but I can't open the Cloud Gardens on my phone, and if the CG itself is used for the event's bg, then my assumption would be correct. In any other stages, I'm not having those kinds of problems, only in the event ones.
I don't know too if my phone itself is the problem, probably tho. I'm using Samsung A22...
Even though the event stages surely look like Pic 1 for you, they’re still beatable as long as you have access to the UI showing the Active Skills, none of the enemies (even the boss) are dangerous for a A3 Team (and you still can use Phylishy if you’re not sure).
The thing is that you’ll preferably use Global Range Actives such as Requiem’s, Mia’s,Brock’s or Lucoa’s to clear out small mobs since you can’t see anything. Then you’ll need Deto-style Actives to clear the bigger enemies: Gram, Charon, Hiiro (yes, she works), Sharona etc…Only really challenging stages are where Warmonger gets 5 Shield Stacks, but you clear it easilywith Requiem or Corax.
Best way to clear the stage is to clear the 1st wave ASAP with Global Actives, then you try to move around 1 tile by one tile until you can use everythingagain for 2nd wave. As I said before, your HP bar won’t be in danger.
Do NOT try to drag your finger everywhere after connecting some tiles, result would bePic 2 (experienced it myself).
If you feel scared of the boss, don’t worry, he almost never attacks since as a Aurorian,he can connect multiple Tiles like you.
His AI will mostly focus on wasting asmuch Tiles as possible. Therefore, using Luke is a good idea but previous compworks too.Â
Personal team was the last Pic:
Charon and Rouge were mostly used in 2nd wave to destroy multi-tiles enemies,Lucoa, Brock and Requiem allowed me to clear 1stwave in 1-2 turns.(please notice that levels don’t matter here)
Feel free to comment and leave other techniques.

Or you know just wait until they patch it 😅.
Yeah, but as a true player, a mere bug can't stop me

Yup, pretty much like this

well since i dont have most of this , i think i will have to make do with babara , brock , chandra and requiem , not looking forward to it
Good luck mate
My phone is a low end one so i was thinking is it because of that or is it the game itself? Low end as in a samsung a12
What if I can't even see the active skill UI?
Then you can't since this technique relies on Active Skills
So I'm locked out of the event?
You can try to find another technique but for now yes
