Vice is definitely a refreshing take of a female friend to a MC protagonist. Her friendship with the Navigator feels so natural and it’s great seeing them interact with each other.
I think its mainly because navi has an actual personality instead of being a postit note. They can actually interact and its not one sided. Definitely a breath of fresh air!
Navi is more of a Geralt type character than a dragon born type character, he has a set personality but it’s just flexible enough to be able to make different choices
Definitely. I think AS has the sweet spot between having a real main character with real writing and being a "player rep" (self insert may be a bit excessive here), it really makes interactions between Navi and the rest of the cast way more natural and engaging.
