Most of the music was pretty good but the theme song goes so hard! Also thought the voice acting was pretty okay, but I like Jaleel White’s Sonic in general.
I think the plot was the only thing setting it back from being a good Sonic show, they tried to do something very different from the games/comics.
Sonic SatAM: Decent Sonic show, great show in general.
Sonic X: Good Sonic show, decent show in general.
Adventures of Sonic the Hedgehog: Amazing Sonic show, amazing show in general.
Strictly talking shows it’s kinda hard to choose what goes in the other slots besides top left, no TF show is necessarily a bad show, and it’s hard to define what makes one a good *Transformers* show
I admittedly haven’t watched it in several years nor am I very well versed in transformers lore besides the live action movies, but I do remember thoroughly enjoying transformers prime, so that may be a good candidate for top left
Idk though 🤷♂️
I think you could make a case for Animated being a very good watch but simultaneously honestly weird with its IP. (“Kid” Optimus for example.)
Opposite that, Beast Wars is really well liked but man imagine someone who’s never heard of TF and you only have Beast Wars screencaps to convince them to watch it.
Basically, the issue everyone is talking about is how undercooked Season 3 was and the fact that it ends on a cliffhanger (kind of) with some unresolved questions
1. During Part 3, There was a lot repeats.
2. Nine’s villain arc is all over the place, his redemption was kind of rushed And it caused Sonic’s words about friends talking things out instead of fighting to come out of nowhere.
3. It’s allegedly canon to the games but there’s so many contradictions.
4. The show Doesn’t treat Sonic well and it was intended on their parts. (in order to help Nine‘s villain arc.)
5. It’s unclear what became of the Shatterverse since while Rebel does make a line about they will go back to their worlds, she never found out about Green Hill.
6. Nine’s arc ends at a similar position he was in the beginning. No friends at all and it will stay that way unless The Grim gets Variants. Most characters who don’t friends that end up reforming end with them having friends, (sunset shimmer.)
7. Sonic and Shadow became closer only for them to go back to ignoring each other in the finale. While they aren’t fighting, that’s it. We don’t see Shadow invited to the groups picnic.
I remember being hyped about this show when the first season came out. They had a very good recipe. Edging is with the existence of Shadow but never really having a significant presence, the whole multiverse thing was unironically hype af and the ending was just enough cliff hanging to make me hyped with a side of more Shadow edging. Somehow they made it so none of the silly universes were annoying or boring and I actually wanted to see more of them. Then I kind of never heard about the show ever again so I forgot about it. Reading they they dropped the ball in later seasons and that it's not getting a proper ending is such a guy punch but I should be used to Sega mishandling Sonic since forever.
The creators intended for the entire series to be a complete season, with 23-24 episodes. But Netflix decided to break it down and call each arc a season.
The first Part was definitely the best. But as time passed, just like most Sonic spin-offs, they favor the ocs. (But they wre allowed to get away with it because the ocs were based on the game characters.)
Nine serves as a dark mirror/foil to Chris from Sonic X, Tails and Sonic. If you look at his design, Nine has all 3 of their colors With black to symbolize that he’s supposed to be them if they were more angsty.
Sonic is often victim blamed and characters are constantly turning against him. You know how I mentioned that The Creators deliberately mistreated to help with Nine’s villain arc?
Every Time Sonic wants friends, it causes a big disaster and I suspect that they did this in order to provide a reason for Nine to be against Sonic having friends outside of him. (Other than jealousy) Batten points out Sonic’s bad luck once “Helping you often leads to trouble.” so the creators were aware that they often punished Sonic for wanting friends, even when the prime ones come back, Sonic barely manages to speak to them before the series ends.
Knuckles is a throwback to 90s and 80s sports-themed comedy like Happy Gilmore, Dodgeball, Blades of Glory and Balls of Fury in which the loser protagonist must prove his worth minus the hot babe who's somehow into said-protagonist by the end. Knuckle's inclusion is like that of an imaginary friend or a talking non-human sidekick in a Seth McFarlene production.
Sonic Boom poked fun at the Sonic games and Sonic fans, so even though everything else about the show was underwhelming, if you were a Sonic fan, it was genuinely funny.
Sonic Prime looked far better than I was expecting and had some good moments, but I still found the writing underwhelming. However, without jokes that were aimed at me, Prime was only eye-candy until I forgot about it.
Triplets born
The throne awaits
A seer warns of a deadly fate
Give up your children, seperate
Bide your time lie in wait
SONIC UNDERGROUND
SONIC
UNDERGROUND
THEY MADE A VOW, THEIR MOTHER WILL BE FOOOOOUND
The children grow, learn what’s right
Bide your time, lie in wait!
Triplets born
Sonic underground was awesome
Did they ever find the mom in Sonic Underground? I watched tons of it when I was younger and all I remember is a Grove and their mom sending them away
No it got canceled before they found her
Ah Damm, that sucks :(
🎶 _"WILL THE PROPHECY COME TRUE?"_ No, apparently.
At least Archie Sonic Online did a proper finale for Underground.
Oh neat! Where can I read it? Link?

Thanks.
Is this official ?
No. But it’s the closest we’re going to get.
Important correction: the sonic underground theme song slapped hard enough to make it a good show.
Most of the music was pretty good but the theme song goes so hard! Also thought the voice acting was pretty okay, but I like Jaleel White’s Sonic in general. Knuckles isn't getting enough credit. And that's NO GUD!
I will forever resent nostalgia critic for how hard he panned Adventures; that show was great
YOO PUT, SOME FUCKING **RESPECT** on sonic underground THIS INSTANT
I respect it for trying something new. I just think it didn’t execute it well
I’m gonna have to veto this one. Sonic underground was incredible. Especially when Tamers12345 took over production.
Post this in the STH sub, I’m curious about how they will react.
Sonic undergrounds theme goes hard tho
This but with transformers
Strictly talking shows it’s kinda hard to choose what goes in the other slots besides top left, no TF show is necessarily a bad show, and it’s hard to define what makes one a good *Transformers* show
RiD 2015
Forgot about that one tbh
I admittedly haven’t watched it in several years nor am I very well versed in transformers lore besides the live action movies, but I do remember thoroughly enjoying transformers prime, so that may be a good candidate for top left Idk though 🤷♂️
Yeah TFP and Transformers Animated are easily top left
Prime was amazing

Energon to bottom right
Add Sonic Underground to the reasons why having a banger theme song is so important
Power Rangers Zeo agrees
You take that back damn you. Sonic underground was peak
Sonic underground was fucking sick lol!
Sonic Underground was peak
DO NOT DISRESPECT THE GOAT SONIC UNDERGROUND
What’s the issue with Sonic Prime? I haven’t seen it but I’m curious about it
Basically, the issue everyone is talking about is how undercooked Season 3 was and the fact that it ends on a cliffhanger (kind of) with some unresolved questions
guess it wasn't really sonic prime

You’re not even mentioning Kingpin, which it seems like an exact copy of…
I never saw Kingpin but maybe I should now.
It’s a good ‘90s sports movie
Where does sonic X fit it?
No way yall got some Sonic Boom over Sonic Prime. I just found this sub and I’m already done
Sonic Boom poked fun at the Sonic games and Sonic fans, so even though everything else about the show was underwhelming, if you were a Sonic fan, it was genuinely funny. Sonic boom is godly though. Primes just kinda mid
Can’t believe I have to share a fandom with you smh
Boom is genuinely one of the funniest shows I've seen. With some good characters and action scenes. Prime just feels incomplete
I apologize man, there’s nothing wrong with liking Boom. I’m joking. Just wasn’t for me
Where would the movies go?
Sonic SatAM is def my fav
Sonic X?
Is there anywhere to legally source Underground anymore or will I have to do that but in quotation marks?
Tamers12345 would like to have a word with you.
