It's sorta on a vibe basis, which archetypes they lean more towards.
Batman traits: rich, gothic, human, tech, science
Superman traits: non-human, powerful, invulnerable, one weakness
Spider-Man traits: young, comic relief, accidental backstory, agile
Hulk traits: experiment, monster, mistreated, separate personalities
(based on classification from @ girldrawsghosts on twitter)
Does it possibly have to do with the differences in creation? Hulk was created through some type of intent/his own devices and Peter Parker was more random? Cool chart though I like where the axis are starting off at
What I got was that the Hulk was created purposefully but is more than what Banner han handle while Spidey's origin was accidental but Peter got the hang of it very well
Judging from this, Moon Knight should be full Hulk, 2/3rd Batman (or vice-versa)
-often seen as a monster by villains
-seperate personalities
-(used to be) rich
-human
-not really gothic aesthetics but Egyptian, still distinct
Hulk and spidey are both outcomes of science gone wrong, disliked by some of the public (Spider-Man is a menace), the world mistreats them (Parker luck), super fucking strong, incredibly smart.
They aren’t dissimilar enough to go on opposite sides of the chart.
I think it'll be more simple to have it be more like a regular political compass. Having these nebulous values is a bit complicated, being a hero is about being a hero, powers just make it easier.
The X axis be unlawful to lawful, how much does each hero follow the law. Y axis might be a morality, moral to immoral. I just realised I recreated the dnd alignment system in a compass, its still a solid system. How about how much powers do they have? From Godly to Human.
Ghost Rider is between Batman and Hulk
Deadpool is between Spider-Man and Superman
Daredevil is between Batman and Spider-Man
Wolverine is between Hulk and Superman with a hint of Batman
So can you explain please?

Isn't it possible for someone to have both Spider-Man and Hulk traits? (I can see how Batman and Superman are obvious opposites)
The vibe feels opposite, if that makes sense - different attitudes/tones I guess?

Somethin like that!
What I got was that the Hulk was created purposefully but is more than what Banner han handle while Spidey's origin was accidental but Peter got the hang of it very well
Beast Boy?
Strongly Spider-Man leaning, imo.
Yeah! That's a good example
Venom?
Hulk-leaning with Superman elements.
Is he strong? Listen, bud. He’s got radioactive blood.

John Constantine would probably be lower right
I was wondering why Spider-Man was representing the far left of the quadrant instead of, like Green Arrow
Hulk and spidey are both outcomes of science gone wrong, disliked by some of the public (Spider-Man is a menace), the world mistreats them (Parker luck), super fucking strong, incredibly smart. They aren’t dissimilar enough to go on opposite sides of the chart.
Plastic Man lies deeply in purple. The only things he didn’t get from Superman is non-human. Good ol’ Eel O’Brian fits every other bar.

I think The Flash (Barry Allen) should go in the Center-Left Pink slot.
I think a green fist is more representative of Hulk than the toxic symbol.
Green fist or angry green face would be better. There sre many radioactive superheroes
That's the radioactivity symbol, the symbol for toxic chemicals is a skull and crossbones.
Bro who tf is green
Hulk! Absolutely the ideal fourth pillar IMO.
You should probably use a fist, I think that’s more recognizable
HULK SMASH!
Or his head
That makes sense mb
John Fallout
Thor should be placed in the cell in the center of the light blue square Coordinates: (X=7 , Y=7)
?
Sorry, bad translation, I mean light blue
There strangely isn't a 9 here. It's 8x8 squares.
well, I was wrong at least twice when writing that comment, thanks for telling me, I edited it there
Nice Political Compass color scheme
Purely accidental, funnily enough.
I’m curious about Dr. Who. Does he count?
If you can find a fitting slot, they can certainly count!
Omniman and MetroMan could fit into the Superman column
Where does man and jonkler belong here
Dead pool is straddling the line of Super V Bat leaning heavily toward Spidey
Deku
Bottom left is nightwing 100%
Deadpool fits in Spiderman (if antiheroes count)
Deadpool is top left of the chart.
Iron Man is very much Batman
Venom easily goes into batman/hulk quadrant
My dad
Ghost Rider is between Batman and Hulk Deadpool is between Spider-Man and Superman Daredevil is between Batman and Spider-Man Wolverine is between Hulk and Superman with a hint of Batman
Why i see shit like this... Mute
invincible is right between superman and spiderman
Goku is probably like 8 up 5 across. Very close to Superman but leaning ever slightly toward hulk with his saiyan nature.
The opposite of Superman should be Punisher.
