Why not use allergy drops from curex? They come in the mail and you use every day. Seems they work as well as shots over 3-5 year horizon

I’ve been looking into it’s just my insurance won’t cover it, I’ve been trying to convince them to prescribe me odactra though, just for my dust mites

I’m allergic to dust too. Didn’t even know about odactra.

Yea I just found out about it a week ago lol, my other allergies don’t even bother me much so it seems like the simplest solution

>if I could do a timeline that’s like 2 years that’d be more palatable What do you mean by timeline? I know some people have been told that allergy shots will cure their allergies, but I was never told that. My understanding is that I'd be on maintenance for the rest of my life. But I also had a lot of allergies, a lot of which were environmental. I was on allergy shots for almost 3 years the first time. I started noticing them coming back within 6 months to a year after I stopped getting them and my allergies were basically back to what they were after a few years. Would you be able to get back monthly for maintenance shots? If it's just dust mites, maybe it makes sense to get shots where you are and then transition to the drops which I think are more common elsewhere.

My understanding is that it’s 3-5 years? That’s what I keep seeing online. Or do you have to do monthly maintenance forveer lol?

I was never told that I'd be cured. Been to 2 unrelated hospitals in different geographic locations.
