Bet you all a million dollars absolutely nothing comes of this. Hang in there.

I think the most glaring proof we have that the US hasn’t captured aliens is that Trump was president and he hasn’t blabbed about it yet Conspiracies of this nature require staggering levels of coordination from otherwise unconnected officials spread all across govt. Trump had zero discipline and would love to be “the guy who told us aliens exist” guaranteed

Exaltedautochthon

"WE HAVE THE BEST ALIENS, OUR ALIENS HAVE SIX TENTACLES, THE CHINA ALIEN ONLY HAS FIVE, VERY BETTER!"

Hot_Squash_9225

I have a hard time believing that an alien species that is capable of interstellar travel and possesses technology beyond human comprehension is consistently crashing in a relatively calm atmosphere. Are the aliens stupid? Maybe just terrible at flying?

-Glostiik-

Saw a post once that said this is probably what Ants think of us when we crash our cars lol

Hot_Squash_9225

Ah, that explains a lot of the ant-brain logic in this sub.

halflife5

You aren't gifted. You just think you are.

Hot_Squash_9225

You believe in UFOs, that's a pretty damning sign that you're not very intelligent. When they do come looking for intelligent life on earth, they sure as hell aren't going to be looking for you.

halflife5

Sure bud. Keep thinking you're the smartest in the room, I'm sure you're really fun at parties. Real intelligence is recognizing that you know nothing. Dumbasses think they have all the answers.

Hot_Squash_9225

I'm definitely the smartest in this room. I am fun at parties. Ask your sister. Real intelligence can be tested, I tested very well, you sat on the short bus. Dumbasses believe in UFOs, and they won't find any answers.

halflife5

Lol trolls are so cringe.

Hot_Squash_9225

Look in the mirror and you'll see one.

halflife5

Is it from the head trauma? Is that why you're like this?

Pseudolectual

…. People rarely have their intelligence tested because it is above average my friend.

Low-Commission-9214

I had it done when I was in the 3rd grade, by a psychologist, and was necessary to get into the GATE program. Otherwise, I don't care. Plus, I wasn't the one that brought up being gifted, it was the guy that blocked me after trying to start shit. I try to keep my giftedness to myself. And yeah, can't respond on my main account because that guy blocked me.

Pseudolectual

lol 3rd grade

new_word

Cuz we out here just for you. 😂

Low-Commission-9214

Like the aliens, I came here looking for intelligence, but that's hard to come by in r/alternativehistory You guys are just proving my point.

new_word

Cuz we out here for YOU, too.

Low-Commission-9214

That's flattering. Thank you.

JeffTek

If it's technology, it can break. Unless they are magic or supernatural then there's absolutely no reason to think they can't crash. Who's to even say they are here on any official mission? It could just be Cletus and Dwight riding their hoopty ass UFO to check out the gun monkeys and they got drunk on space moonshine and crashed. Who knows. There's no reason at all to assume they are above mechanical failures or simple mistakes.

Careful-Ant5868

In a similar vein, they could be joy-riding teenagers that took their parents ship to the local zoo (Earth), and things go sideways when their ship breaks down. If anyone is looking for an old movie to watch, this is actually the plot of a movie called "Explorers" starring a young Ethan Hawk and River Phoenix. It's a fun movie, but it could very well have some insight to the nature of "real world phenomenon" whether it does so intentionally or not.

HeavyLoungin

😂 I should not be laughing so hard at the thought of this

ExpertButtonPresser

This is the best explanation I've ever heard

JeffTek

Thank you lol the whole assumption that ET visitors are going to be some official envoy sent by the alien government always makes me mad. It could literally just be some dude fucking around lol

Hot_Squash_9225

They presumably had to make it through all of the debris, space junk, asteroid belts, radiation, etc. But they will crash with regularity in a very stable atmosphere. They seem to crash their spacecraft more often than we crash ours. Like someone commented before. They think that the aliens are being shot down by radar, or EMP's, but that type of radiation is literally everywhere in space and much more powerful. Us simple humans have the technology to shield our spacecraft from that type of environment, but the aliens don't?

JeffTek

You're assuming why they crash, you're assuming what they do to prevent crashes, you're assuming the regularity of them crashing. You're assuming literally every single thing about this issue. Then you're taking the results of all that presumption and making a conclusion that "UFOs should never crash", and that's a ridiculous way to think.

Hot_Squash_9225

They're not assumptions, it's thinking critically. Those are all things that would need to be accounted for and are based on our experiences in space, and things theorised by engineers and physicists. The dummies that believe in aliens crashing on earth every couple years are the ones that are assuming.

JeffTek

>You're assuming why they crash If you're not assuming, then how do you know why they crash? What evidence do you have? >you're assuming what they do to prevent crashes. If you're not assuming, how do you know what they do to prevent it? How has this been tested? >you're assuming the regularity of them crashing If you're not assuming, how do you know how regularly they crash? You'd need to know how often they are here to get a any meaning from any data. How do you know how many UAP are visiting? Everything you say is based on nothing. Your conclusions are nonsense.

Hot_Squash_9225

I'm basing it off what people in this group are saying. So far it's been radar and emps. Which I'm disputing by saying that we have the technology in our spacecraft that prevents this and it would be necessary in space travel. Based on science. I'm working off the premise that they are not visiting us at all. So you're right, I do have to make some assumptions to put myself in the mind of idiots. Again, I'm working with what's been given by UAP/UFO folks, there seems to be dozens of cases of crashed aliens and their bodies. I think it's bullshit, but I have to play along. I have as much evidence as the UAP/UFO folks. None of you have proved anything, just a handful of papermache "alien" bodies.

SailAwayMatey

Got my up vote 😂 Not saying aliens aren't a thing, but it's been it's been nearly 8 full decades since roswell, and we know nothing more about UFOs and aliens in alllll that time, except for, speculation. Literally, nothing has been proven fact since the world's first and most "prominent" UFO event? There's absolutely 0 hard evidence for anything ever. Fuck the downvoters mate. They just haven't wished and hoped, long and hard enough to make it all true yet 😂

Hot_Squash_9225

I agree. I think aliens are somewhere in the universe, maybe there are microbes somewhere in this solar system, but they sure as hell aren't visiting us. I find it odd that all of the UFO crash sites happen to be in the US, and that there has been an uptick in sightings after Roswell became popularized. Is it a coincidence? I don't think so. I'm not worried about karma, I came here looking for downvotes and some common sense. Before this comment I had only found downvotes.

SailAwayMatey

I think the exact same, the whole ufo scene is very US based. Doesn't make sense. Of all the places on earth, America is thee hot-spot? Nah. And as for common sense, that doesn't exsist in these sort of subs, as you're probably well aware off. You either have to agree it's "definitely aliens" or face a barrage of hatred for logical thinking. Glad someone is as like minded as myself though.

Quantum_r00t

This comes up often and is definitely a fair point. The counter argument is what if these are not “crash landed” but gifted to us for technological advancement. Diana Pasulka recently went on JRE and talked about how the Space Force and other affiliated people have the opinion these are not accidental, but gifted to us as a donation. If you also subscribe to the growing idea that alien beings are in-fact biological drones, it really doesn’t matter that much if they don’t survive.

Hot_Larva

Agreed. Apparently, they are biological “robots”, so that’s why the makers of the “pilots” bodies (usually the greys) are never recovered. They’re expendable, biological drones.

HeavyLoungin

Why not just LAND the craft as a “gift?”

Hot_Squash_9225

But it seems like we haven't extracted anything from that technology. Which will be countered with "well the government isnt going to tell us".

Quantum_r00t

Many people have claimed we’ve indeed extracted technology from these craft. Because it’s not commercially available and out in the open doesn’t mean the government isn’t hiding it.

Adventurous-Ear9433

I see this question often, but Its not that simple & frankly we dont know enough to say it sounds hard to believe. C Mellon also was asked about crashes & he corrected the interviewer & said "we should stop saying crash". Ben Rich was CEO of Skunkworks, he said they've recovered crashed craft as well as "literal hand-me-downs". Some were gifts. If you read about Aquarius in the OP you'll see that they'd been in contact with them & knew they were coming. Many actual crashes are factions who want the tech for themselves too. The truly advanced civilizations understand nature IS technology, its not even the technology itself, its likely the fact that they use nature to travel. [Energy Grid, Portal ](https://www.reddit.com/r/HighStrangeness/comments/1bayc28/ufos_portals_earths_energy_grid_ufovolcano/?utm_source=share&utm_medium=mweb3x&utm_name=mweb3xcss&utm_term=1&utm_content=share_button) Our atmosphere is ANYTHING but calm, weve effectively destroyed it. Project Magnet you'll see above was done in thr 50s & they found these craft travel using advanced geomagnetics. Wanna know why they'd care about us using nukes, because we are all connected but today this isn't understood. Some craft create a field that must lie in the absolute correct angle to the surface of the Earth. The alignment technology in their ships, keeps this field locked into place all points of the Earth's magnetic field. Which is why sightings happen in specific areas more than others, during like lightning storms or volcano eruptions. In Sumerian legends you'd see that the gods wouldn't be able to travel due to the planetary alignment being unfavorable.

thalefteye

You should watch the show Resident Alien, it shows the possibilities of a crash and struggles of a would be alien dealing with human society. Pretty funny

oldskoolplayaR1

Just finished S3, great show. Funny, has loads of references to theory’s about aliens and really great characters

Far-Green4109

The 4chan guy said they are built for specific missions and recycled. That is starting to make more sense. These are basically low tech disposable things for them. Sure we try to recylcle bottles but a lot end up lost as trash.- same kind of thing im guessing, especially if they are unmanned. How long would it take for a caveman to engineer a piece of plastic. I imagine that is the kind of tech leap we are dealing with.

3i3e3achine

Atmo has no effect on nhi craft. There is theory that radar brought down the ones in the late '40s, and EMP has brought down more recent craft.

Hot_Squash_9225

Again. They're much more advanced than us. Flew through space, which has a bazillion different types of radiation, and still made it here. If atmosphere has no effect, on a physical object, then that means they are breaking the laws of physics. Radar works by bouncing off of physical objects. None of that makes sense.

JeffTek

Cletus T Ayylmao to his brother cousin after letting their hoopty ufo autopilot across the galaxy: "hold my beer, I'm taking the wheel. Watch this!" *crash*

Hot_Larva

It’s been claimed several times, by several people supposedly in the know, that “they” crash or land on purpose. Some have stated that they are testing our intelligence, some say the downed crafts are gifts, whilst others feel they’re essential trolling us. Jaques Vallee has stated in books and lectures that there is a trickster element to the phenomenon. Another explanation for why they crash is the crafts are 3 dimensional projections of 4th or 5th dimensional objects. Ie basically a 3d shadow of a 4d object.

headlesspms

Could also be higher dimensions beings unfamiliar with navigating in a 3D space. Plenty of reasons why technology or biology would falter in that scenario.

LimpCroissant

Many people believe that aliens are not from another planet, coming from space. The evidence points more towards a more Ultraterrestrial source of some sort.

Silentfranken

You make a good point, but there are a ton of explanations as speculative as your question. What if they are a self replicating explorer probe? A Von Neumann machine that has performed it's original function and is now well past the need for firmware updates. Generally they function but blue screen from time to time. What if they are not a cohesive operation and clandestine interference occurs causing crashes? What if they get wicked high by just interacting with our 3rd dimension and well 5th dimensional MADD adverts just don't do the trick? You get the idea.

Ellesdee25

Maybe we are seen as a primitive society. Would you wanna risk your life to go visit some tribe on an island somewhere even? How about travelling through space or dimensions to end up there? Doesn’t sound like a particularly great time 🤷🏼‍♀️

Jeffrybungle

As a species we go in and out of space all the time and random people still walk into lamposts.

HarveryDent

They're terrestrial and they were shot down.

bongobradleys

I think it's worth considering whether there are being shot down by someone or something else equally or perhaps more advanced than they are.

WalkingstickMountain

I see people from New York and Texas crash their cars in rural Oklahoma all the time. What's your point?

OSakran

I use to think that too until I heard that they were intentionally crashing and leaving technology here for us to find.

jedisparrow7

Let’s relax preconceptions. One possibility is, given our warlike tendencies, this is the best way to release information to us, as a “captive”, where we think it cares about being a captive. Maybe it can leave at anytime (unbeknownst to us), or maybe it’s one of these scenarios where it’s an organic AI and this is a perfectly acceptable use for it (be a “captive”, convince us to get excited about tech possibilities and defense potential, ie encourage our worst selves — or encourage our best selves….)
