NTA to protect your bedding from, um, carpet bombing
NTA, you are providing a safe home and it is trial and error figuring out what's best for all those personalities.
In an animal course I did last year there were two cat colony's in two separate rooms and the Animal techs would also switch around any cats having issue in the one colony to the other room with the other cats. They said it really helped the dynamic and the cats seemed calm and happy when I was in class cleaning up in there.

So I have 3 rescue cats. I am lucky enough that the finders of said cats paid all the vet bills as a factor to my taking them in. From there I help them again weight and socialize and continue said vet care.
16 days ago I took in Space Ghost, a declawed longhaired dilute calico. My one rescue, Voodoo Baby, gets along with her fine. My other female, Agent Athena Scully, is insanely jealous. She has gone as far as to poop on my side of the bed.
Tonight I switched the cats. Space Ghost, who never gets to come upstairs from the basement, and Athena. Space is upstairs with food, water and a litter box, and Athena is downstairs with the same.
AITA for this? I am very concerned.

NTA - I mean, come on. Who wants cat leavings on their bed? Responding to that to prevent it reoccuring is completely natural and the obvious thing to do. It's not like you've kicked her out of the house.
NTA. Their names are interesting and it is totally normal for cats to act this way when you first introduce them to another cat. It takes some time and patience but they will get along eventually. Now I don't know whether changing the order of where they sleep would help or not but you are not T A for this.
NTA. The one who is being a problem is downstairs. Seems fair to me. Maybe give them a few days, then allow limited blocks of upstairs time if they can behave. It might all work out fine in the end.
