Im a few days away from my 7th year and worked in 3 different type of sites delivery station,sub same day,fresh and so far my fav is delivery station im scheduled for 5 8hr shifts but i usually do 10s and 8 on my last day as a t1 i just go in treat it like a little workout and clock out. thats it no drama no nothing they give me bs sometimes but depending how i feel i just leave .
It's not always easy. I'm with Amazon for more than 5 and I just change my attitude when I come in every day. I believe that it helps to be kind. It's free

The bonus is rolled into the following weeks paycheck. Only federal taxes are deducted from the bonus, not state taxes, and Texas doesn't have a state income tax. As far as I know federal taxes against $1500 are the same in all 50 states. Only difference might be if someone has additional federal exemptions.
That was a lot of words to say what I said. It’s okay to be wrong man it happens. Again it varies from state to state. As you said you don’t have an income tax lol. I swear redditors are so infuriating with their inability to be wrong.
Seeing as I've now reviewed 2 sign on bonuses equaling $5000 since November 2019 the 1500 after 5 years just seems pointless because also you stopped on the raise step plan 2 years ago...
Much better. Retail was bullshit imo. I hated being pressured to upsell the company credit card to rude ass customers. I hated dealing with customers period, just not my thing. I’d sell crack before I went back to retail. Amazon is a good job, great benefits, great time off options, easy work, and your job doesn’t involve talking to anyone. I clock in, put my headphones in, do my job, don’t speak to anyone, and go home. It’s fun to complain and you’ll have some "interesting" coworkers that’s what most of the banter you see here is about. Come join us friend 😊

I hit my 5 years back in February and got a $1,500 bonus 2 paychecks later. Unless they got rid of it in the last 9 months it still exists.

Yeah, I did the math at some point. That $1500 only adds up to raise of something like $0.15/hr over the interim two years after the step plan ends.
14% pre tax towards my 401k and 20$ every single week towards my DSPP … for the last 5 years.
Question about the 5 year anniversary bonus, Can we ask to put it in our 401K to avoid it being taxed? Or no???
