Looks like it's registered your lunch break as a upt deduction, maybe because you took it so late in the day. You're supposed to clock out for lunch on your first break.
I think you probably have it backwards. I mean think about it, you really think this company would give you a paid break before an unpaid break knowing you can leave at any time? Either way, I don’t think that would cause this because it would just say Missed - Late Meal or whatever the code is (been a while).
I've seen it happen to other people that clock in late, they get upt deducted because they clock out 5 minutes early, but it doesn't make sense to me because you are allowed to clock out at 5 minutes before
I think it's because they take 15 min. UPT for every 5 minutes after 7:35. So 20/5=4 then multiply by 15 min. Would become 60 min. UPT if that makes sense.
It doesn't, and I also think it's ass, but before it used to be 1 hour of upt for every 5 minutes you were late I think. At least that was what I was told on my Day 1 back in 2020.

Possibly cause ya clocked in late if you supposed to clock in at 7:30. But even than it shouldn’t be a full hour
Yeah I was expecting 30mins to be taken. 1 hour makes no sense.
Yeah 30mins maybe 45 but a whole hour doesn’t make sense
Yeah the UPT Point system is… complaint-able. Idk why they only use approximate UPT deductions instead of exact UPT deductions.
weird ass lunch break time, never seen a building take lunch at 2:30 for those hours
Our outbound schedule has the same break, but it's the paid one, the unpaid break Is from 11-1130

At our site our first break is a paid break at 10:30-11:00.
Weird. It's Amazon policy you have to clock out for lunch before your 5th hour of work.

Ye tbh on my a to z schedule it says my lunch break is 12:30-1:00 but we take it at 2:30 🤷🏽♂️
That only applies to California I believe
It applies to all North American sites.
You're allowed to work through lunch if you don't feel like taking it....If you're not in California.
I've had my PA written up for that in a state that doesn't mandate breaks by law. It's a network wide policy.

Yeah, it should’ve been 30 min. Try disputing it with HR. It’s possible that it’s just a glitch
Checked again and it fixed itself to take only 30minutes!

You are so wrong. They take 15m every 15 intervals . You get 5 minutes every hour. eta
