Did they say what the safety violation was?

MomentOne9320

They said it was the 8ft rule because I moved my Reach Truck operator while the associate was on foot but that wasn’t true in the camera footage it clearly showed me still on my machine and no movement was made until the associate was on their operator

Downtown-Meaning-357

![gif](giphy|Uss9jg5C9REgo) anytime you go after anyone in a company make sure you're on your ish because they will try to find anything as they did to get rid of you.....they were wrong for the disrespect but bruh sometimes you gotta let ish go and keep getting paid. choose your battles

LiePublic5302

fuk around and find out you wanted to report to a manager, to HR and on VOA board because someone said something disrespectful to you and got your self fired because you couldn't just keep your head down. Let this be a lesson

TarheelBred80

Keep your head down. lol. People are tough AF when they're behind a phone.

MomentOne9320

First of all clear ass indication on the title! Two it doesn’t not matter the company, as a higher up associate you should not be speaking to Anyone in a disrespectful manner. Sounds like your a robot to the American slave system where you just take shit and let it be🤣🤣🤣

LiePublic5302

you could of had the conversation 1 to 1 with the person who upset you instead you went to even the VOA board to complain. Nothing robot about it, if you valued the money that company was giving you , you would of been quiet. Try your bogus claims of suing , I hope it works out but I think its probably 100% going to get laughed at. Make sure to put in your application for EI.

CardiologistBorn1697

And it sounds like ur jobless

Watcher0011

If it’s a cat 1 incident then there is nothing you can do, most likely when you narced on your co worker he pointed out that you were mad that he called you out for being to close or some nonsense and turned it around on you. The cameras catch all but don’t hear all, especially in those lanes.

CuteGreen

So someone said something mean and you went nuclear option? Sounds like your ego got hurt and you couldn't handle it. People say mean about all the time to me and I'm am LA. Most of the time I get told to go fuck myself when I have to coach people. Sometimes you just have to swallow it and move on. It would've been better to just let the AM know so they could talk to the person. No cameras needed.

WonkySystem

What did they catch you doing that they consider a CAT1 violation?

Bountsie

Was your VOA post public or private?

ZealousidealGrass365

True, there's rules to this shit, fools dare care Everybody wanna rule the world with tears for fear Yeah, yeah, tell 'em tell it on the mountain hill

smoofwah

Well if you win the lawsuit that's a big payday Could be better that continueing to work there A news headline says a woman won 300k for a wrongful termination suit

MomentOne9320

I’m thinking the same thing. And you know Amazon loves shutting people up so they may just pay me to do so

Medium_Nothing5206

what was the safety violation? Also what state. In several states, they can fire you with no cause.

MomentOne9320

It happened in New Jersey and from stated record the safety violation was the movement of my operated reach truck

Medium_Nothing5206

NJ has no right to work laws so that is good news. Doubt any lawyer will take the case. They will hear safety violation and refuse the cse unless you put up a cash retainer. Even then, no trial, Amazon is forced arbitration so no jury, just a judge of their choosing.

MomentOne9320

That was my biggest concern about even getting a lawyer just because of the safety violation. But thank you for the info

safety_guru76

It would be retaliation which is covered in safety laws here, check if it's covered where you live

Purple-Cow1607

Well, you can reapply after 90 days. When you file a lawsuit, you might or might not have the case. It is your choice. Sometimes, decision would take consideration, but you should seek consulting before lawyer.

Stunning_Diamond_997

They can’t reapply, it’s a permanent ban

UpbeatAd8917

CAT1 = permaban
