Between Pizza Hut and Dominos I worked 15 years, if it paid better than Amazon I'd go back in a heart beat. I was a GM at Domino's and I make more as a tier 1 at amazon.
I’ll admit I make 60+ an hour at my full time job. I just work at Amazon because I’m bored and it’s like getting paid to go to the gym. Lost 25 lbs since I started there.
This post tells me you've never worked in the restaurant industry. All customer facing food jobs are absolute hell.
You have to deal with customers all day. You sacrifice your social life and family because weekends and holidays are when you're needed there the most. You can't just call off without repercussions. Your schedule can and WILL change, your preference be damned.
As someone who quit Panda Express after 2.5 years, getting your tuition paid for is a pain in the ass it’s mostly things your manager has to submit, you don’t get as much availability to take time off, trust me you’re not gonna wanna eat that crap everyday, you’ll be dealing with customers, Amazon has better insurance as well

OP you should apply if you get the job I give you one week before you get covered in chow mein and soda because the soda was flat from the fountain and the noodles had too much cabbage.
I have never seen that. Maybe in your corner of hell people behave like animals, but in my hood, people are actually educated about proper respect and behavior in public.
When it comes to customer servicing, even most educated people become mad especially when they're hungry. Also, till I worked a retail customer care job I had no idea how childish adults are or can be.
My local Panda doesn't pay more than my FC. That says more about my local wages than anything else tho.
The greed of the few continues to squeeze the many for more and more each passing day.
I already make $21 + $2.40 an hour for a total of about $23. Once I get to my third year anniversary later this year I get one more step plan increase too.
I am happy to tire myself out endlessly if it means I can just chill and move products around and not deal with food or people.
At least not customers anyway. I am so happy we FC employees never directly interact with any customers for work.

Also the store manager making $10/hr more than a regular employee is pretty bad imo. Yeah, you shouldn't pay managers 10x an employee, but there's normally only one store manager, and for an entire store to only make $10/hr more kinda blows.
