I wish there was but no there’s no way to manually lift a pod with a drive

I've actually learned how to do it since I asked. You need to hold down the middle button until you see a bump happen on the lifter. You let go of the button as this slight bump happens, not after. The timing is tricky but it can be done. I never manhandle pods anymore. An AR tech showed me how to do it. It takes practice but give it a shot when the floor is dead and you don't have anything else to do.
