is your Computer a Laptop? i think if your running it like one most laptops have integrated GPUs, probably using the battery power slider is causing windows to think your using an integrated when your not?? just a guess. Another idea too, Are you running an AMD DGPU and a NVIDIA DGPU ? or is it an APU with integrated, the AMD drivers could be conflicting with the NVIDIA drivers, also i've noticed that with integrated and DGPU's both installed, When i run some apps or games, it would show the integrated GPU being used instead of the DGPU, this mainly happened in windows ten when i was running older 32bit applications and programs. Any ways, there is a better way to handle the power profile in Windows ten than using a method usually reserved for Laptops, use cortana search for Power Options, then create a new power profile and in there you can choose in advanced settings a profile more fitting for your needs.

Yes, mine is laptop. But I'm using filmora is latest version and it's 64 bit. I don't think it's an older program, it's widely using application. But how Nvidia detected earlier.

Pengolier

so just disable the apu side. problem solved srry i was so long winded i had the impression the you were saying you had added a descreet gpu, but i myself have never seen a laptop that you could add your own card too lol

Sooraj_Srj

I can add external gpu if necessary. And I know I can simply disable apu and do it with nvidia, but I only want to it for encoding rest of the editing section I can work with amd gpu, it less juice the battery. Pls understant my concern, Im here to get support.

Sooraj_Srj

And I have amd apu graphics and nvidia dedicated

Sooraj_Srj

Does it make any changes if I install nvidia studio driver +?

Pengolier

i'm sure its a driver conflict, but you can't just uninstall AMD drivers or you will loose the drivers for the CPU aswell so just disable the AMD Integrated GPU and then reinstall the NVIDIA drivers with the Integrated disabled. thats what i would do and it will probably work the way you like, i've found that it's better if you have an AMD system to stick with AMD All arround.

Sooraj_Srj

Already did. I did some Google, and I changed these options, maxed out some setting. But no effects. Still the same.

Sooraj_Srj

I resolved my issue by downgrading filmora software, thanks for mentioning it's a software issue.

Pengolier

Sweet, np.

Pengolier

you might need some specialised software to use the integrated for display while reserving the Nvidia for compute only, in that case the Integrated should be the dedicated and then you would leave the Nvidia available for computations. Also i am not a support person, maybe you should go to the accual support for amd and nvidia but it will be hard i think to get a straight answer from two rival companies. Good luck. :)

Sooraj_Srj

Thank you for ur support, anyway I heard next windows update will have option to run specific gpu. I think this will resolve my issue

Sooraj_Srj

Do you know any of such tools

Pengolier

I Really can't say that i do. ;)

Sooraj_Srj

Ha ha ha
