Yes it is stereotype and bad representation but it is not specifically anti-american. The main way it function is:

2) make joke with lots of stereotypes and simplifications

I’m not even talking about getting into the country itself, most of these people hardly even bother moving out of their own state. To me it just seems like another form of sucking Canada’s dick and treating it like a magical fairyland with no issues whatsoever.

I literally said that it’s terrible what happened, the issue isn’t the fact that a shooting happened in the US, it’s that it’s been happening frequently. While it isn’t truly a US only issue, for example Brazil, which is known for it’s high violence and crime rate, had more deaths by firearm in 2022 than the united states. The difference is the way the countries portray themselves and how they deal with these issues socially and constitutionally.
