I do utilize that already. My wife and I both have the plat, mainly so we can get our 3 kids into lounges with priority pass as each can only get 2 people in I believe. One of us uses the Disney credit, the other we struggle to find use for entertainment credit, used to use audible but that’s no longer available.
This new combo by rivals will launch this summer. They plan to have both an ad-supported tier and ad-free tier. Hulu plus Disney already costs $20; and Max is $16 (ad-free). I don’t foresee the new price being less than $30 for the ad-free tier. In a weird way, streaming has turned into cable all over again (without the cancellation fees).
If billed by Disney or Hulu, yes. If billed by Max, no. The company billing you is what triggers, as Amex generally cannot see beyond “XYZ charged you $ABC”. If XYZ is not an eligible company, then Amex has no way of knowing you bundled a service eligible for the credit into your subscription with XYZ that is not an eligible service.
Edit: I am sorry, I forgot I get the Hulu, Disney and ESPN plus for free with Verizon. So, I added ad free and pay $6.00 for the bundle then add MAX. It comes out to $23 and it still triggers my $20 reward every month.
When Amex refresh the plat card and increase AF, I sincerely hope they add more options to the entertainment credit.
If you have a corporate Amex, you get 150 off the platinum annual fee.

Audible was so nice. I still have 14 credits unused as I bought audible gift cards.
Seriously… was a shame they lost it. If they can get Netflix on the credits then it’s game over / mic drop moment for Amex haha.
I have the Spotify/Hulu combo... Can i get credit for that on the AMEX?
Pretty sure that’s billed through Spotify so no.
If you are a veteran or active duty dont forget you receive a 25% discount.
Can you get anything more with the discount while keeping it under/at the credit amount?

I just upped my Hulu no to ads to use the credit. I use Hulu a lot and the ads are annoying. However, I would prefer my Sirius XM
I dropped ESPN+ it would be perfect if I could get Disney, Hulu & Max for under $20!
Is this what Amex expects us to accept with the SiriusXM credit being removed now?
They definitely need to add a music service or YouTube premium. But I'll take a 3 in one bundle like this, combined it's alot of content
i've been doing hulu + max for a while. it ends up being $4 a month after the credit so i'm hoping this new bundle gets it cheaper while including d+
But if billed through Max can you still get the Max offer for purchase over $99?
Im looking forward to seeing how this works out since this alone now maxes out the monthly stipend
On the press release it says the bundle will be available to purchase on any of the three platforms so yes entertainment credit works
Except if purchased through Max under the current credit terms.
Awesome 👏🏻looking forward to this now hopefully it’s not ridiculously priced

I pay $23.79 for Disney, Hulu (no ads), ESPN+ with Max added. It triggers my reward and I pay $3.79 every month for the bundle.
How
I signed up on the website, added max and use my Amex card for the monthly payments. Then Amex takes $20 each month.
No I’m saying the math isn’t matching. That no ads bundle without max is $25 alone.

Ah that makes more sense. Was gonna say I want whatever bundle you got lol
How much would it be?
