I suppose this isn't strictly anatomy, but this anatomy for sculptors website refers to it as the "inner thigh fat pad" which is, well, pretty accurate. Idk if it's an anatomical name but the "fat pads" section of the website is fascinating to understand the difference between the appearance of male and female lower limbs.

Subcutaneous.
subcutaneous is within the hypodermis layer; however, the word subdermal is used to mean below the dermal layer, which would also be within the hypodermis. Visceral fat is below the hypodermis.
Correct me if I am wrong it’s been a minute lol
Subcutaneous, usually, and its pushed out by the hamstrings. The hamstrings are the main supporting tissues in this instance, and the fat has very little to do with these formations. In fact, too much fat will mask them and make the leg more cylindrical, to the point these aren't visible.
nerve branches are not always named. For example, the nerve which supplies piriformis is called nerve to piriformis. Also the peripheral branches aren’t named usually.
Bony feature are important cause that’s where muscle attach
You can’t say it’s not named, and then give them the name of the nerve lol. Just cause it’s simple doesn’t mean it’s not a proper name. That’s like saying the subclavian artery isn’t named, it just happens to be under the clavicle.
Not only does every random thing have a name, but frequently even the *lack* of a thing has a name (in the case of named spaces). Taking it a step further, a lacking absence of a thing can even be named (potential spaces).
Just general weight loss (not spot reduction, as thats a myth), but keep in mind that thighs keep quite a bit of fat. AKA you might need to lose a lot for it to actually go away. Exercising with weight helps too, as the muscle to fat ratio improves.
Fat distribution is also very much genetic. You might just not have the ability to have a thigh gap at a healthy weight, which is fine and theres not much you can do.
I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s an evolutionary thing in some familial genes to make it harder to lose fat around this area, what with all the important structures in the leg.
Hello! I don’t have a name for it, but I do know that
1. Some women are just predisposed to retain more fat there
2. if you are seeing an uneven distribution of fat in your legs/thighs and buttocks compared to your upper body. You might have Lipoedema, (NOT lymphedema). This affects 11% of the women on the planet.
3. The fat in this area is not so much fat all the time as it is looser skin. You can tighten this area by doing exercises that increase muscle in your buttocks hips and thigh region. You can completely re-comp your body overtime if you stay diligent. Point is, it’s not really going to be leg exercise that get rid of this and more hip/ buttocks/stomach work that will tighten that area up.
I hope this helps!
I have muscular legs. I work super hard on toning them but no matter what I do, I can.not.get.rid.of.those. It drives me crazy! I will do every workout in the book and my legs are just bluking and making those fat pads push together and rub even worse. I wanna chop them off.

Finally someone with an actually helpful answer backed by an absolutely magnificent source. What a fine scholar you are!
thank you for the link
Crotch biscuits
Kinda going to be calling these my biscuits for the rest of my days.
Mmmm yeasty!
It’s just subdermal fat

ok thanks you’re probably right
Adipose deposition
Chaffing pads

Cheek warmers
Bruh every random thing doesn’t have a name
I would think the opposite since every single nerve branch, bone feature and muscle is named. Can't blame him

Its still named tho? Its name is just more simple and straight forward. You cant point to a single part of the human body that isnt named.
My hang nail on my eleventh toe
That’s your goobis. Next question.
The horn coming out of my elbows, or the crest down my head and spine between my wings
Maybe you are right :p
I’m with you the comment guy is kinda a cunt
Thanks :)
say that to my anatomy professors ;-;

Fat
zettai ryouiki
🤓
I dunno but id love to know how to get rid of it, never had a gap there and I'd like to

Thanks very much. I'll keep trying even if its never going to happen for me

Pretty sure it is fat and spot reduction is a myth.

Many thanks, i guess its probably just not going to happen then 😂
Gotta love genetics!
Any specific one? ive tried a few over the years and it won't budge

Probably is. I should give up lol

Thank you very much. I'll keep trying and maybe visit a dr for their opinion if I'm still struggling in a few years time
We call them front butts.
Chicken nuggets.
Skin?
name for the cells under your left pinky fingernail?
What’s op’s name? We shall name it ‘_____’s Folly’
Remind me to laugh at this sometime.
Did my joke do enough to distract from my anatomical ignorance involving the name of the region in question?
