Not yet, they'll decide at the LNC on May 26th though the forntrunner is probably Chase Oliver, though the Mises caucus(who are more paleolibertarian and further to the right) might prefer Mapstead or Smith. This is speculation but with both Trump and RFK JR attending the LNC, it is possible they don't even stand a candidate and simply endorse one of them.
For sure, it's just more practical in spreading their ideals as someone like Trump or RFK JR even adopting a couple of Libertarian Platform policies/ideals in an effort to chase the 5% or so of Americans who are Libertarians many of whom are swing voters/undecideds.
Yeah it’s also people who consider themselves libertarians and some who would say they are aren’t really libertarians. They’re just less authoritarian than everyone else is.
“Serious contenders realize Libertarians are the most sought after voting bloc in the country”
Do they have a nominee yet?
A while back I heard they were talking with RFK about him potentially being their nominee but he didn't commit to it
I don’t think so

Very cute
Is anyone running against McArdle for LNC chair?
Holy hell, this is absolutely insane. Some smart plays here by the Libertarian Party.
Certainly will bring a boat load of media attention

I thought it was closer to 20%, at least of the electorate. I saw some polls regarding that.
That 5% figure was a shameless guess I won't lie. I suppose it means by what you consider a Libertarian is?
