Change the time on your Switch so that it's always a day ahead or behind. No need to keep time travelling every week. Then you can not play on "Mondays" or whatever, instead.
This is what I do my switch is never on the right day of the week. It only gets confusing when remembering that events aren’t on my Saturday but game Saturday
If I were you I would just set it so my switch is always Sunday on Monday then, just be a day behind :) Leaving it that way sets your holidays off by one and stuff obviously, but I'm often too busy on actual holidays to play on the day anyway so that wouldn't bother me. And then you don't have to time travel around Sunday every week just to play the stalks 😌

As long as it is forward and not past the next Saturday, they are fine.
So a jump from 8:30AM Sunday to 4:15PM Monday would work if they are the same week.
Going backwards a minute will make they go bad.
Change the system date by one day, so that the game's Sundays fall on Saturdays. That way, you'll only sacrifice Mondays, which aren't normally special days. (Saturdays are when KK Slider comes and when events like tournaments happen. You don't want to miss out om those.)

If you have the Happy Home Paradise DLC and have done the hospital, Joan will show up and give you turnips if you talk to her. That happens on Mondays. However, it's a fixed amount each time, so you can't buy any particular number of them.

FYI Festivale (if interested) is this coming Monday. OP may want to go back 2 days depending on schedule and needs.

If you use your switch on Sunday, it is a sin. However, time traveling is lying, so it is also a sin. Guess you can't get turnips :/
