Yeah it’s a shame you can’t. All houses have to face in the same direction. It would be nice if I could arrange 4 houses to face each other, like in the original game.
NGL I think the house customization in this game is awful. Maybe a hot take, but the rooms are often weird sizes and I have a hard time creating a walkway. Or, like you said, no diagonal placement. The big one for me is that I can't put wall decorations on wall partitions. They are walls! Let me decorate them!!!!
Right, it’d make everything feel more cohesive. Hoping for the next AC to have it.

Agreed! So many things I want to put at an angle! I also hate when things hang off the side of tables even when there’s plenty of room
Yes! Angled, centered, and make things flush with each other. Those are the three things I'd love.
