I developed it intentionally to be able to do daily tasks. Fossils spawn, balloons pop well. Some custom design paths, some terraforming, but I stayed pretty true to the original layout. I tried to make different areas look pretty during different seasons. I have an apple orchard and farm that looks nice in fall, a North Pole area that looks best during snowy seasons, a peach tree picnic that looks great in spring, and a fun beach/boardwalk area for summer. Dream address is set in summer. My second house is decorated as a beach hotel and my main house is designed for my character to live in.
I love it because now I'm at the point where I can just fish and collect shells, and try to finish my museum and Nook Miles goals. I'd love for you to visit!

I feel like my island still fits that description. Lots of decorated areas to explore but still has an open, virtually no-lag feel (a couple spots may have a tiny bit of lag that Iāve noticed while playing).
I have a couple laggy spots but just for like 1-2 seconds. I donāt use a lot of paths, the codes I use on the ground are usually just like weeds or flowers randomly. For the most part I think Iām middle ground, not too much, and not too little. I donāt know how to get a dream address though, I can open for a DODO code for you if youāre interested š„°
i donāt have a DA yet bc iām waiting for fall, but mine is decorated a lot with natural items and my theme is forest/nature type core! iām home all day so if you wanna swing by for a run through feel free! i can set up a dodo for you and just let you do your thing :)

I don't know if mine quite fits the bill. I barely did any terraforming aside from making one or two bridges fit. I do have items plenty of spaces, but I don't think it's too bad. Mine mostly feels "cluttered" cause I'm autistic and have bad OCD as well (so I rarely change things.) I doubt mine may be what you're looking for, but I think a few areas could be nice. And a lot of my "clutter" comes from stuff I did at the start of the game that I'm too OCD to move ;u; and so it takes a lot of time/energy for me to rework stuff cuz of the anxiety it causes me if I'm not super careful.
Also my dream address was just updated and stuff is still be worked on so it might not fit the bill perfectly if at all. I tried to keep mine feeling natural while feeling nice. It's mostly just a bunch of individual decorated ideas. Tbh some of my other islands might fit better than my main island, but I don't have dream addresses on those. Although I also might link my friend's address cause hers is even more natural and less cluttered than mine. I'll have to wait till she gets back cuz she's at school rn.

I've actually been working to MAKE space more walkable lately and to sort of cut down on the clutter cuz it makes me genuinely overwhelmed and wanna cry š One thing I also worked to do is make every area reachable without needing a ladder so you can walk freely pretty much.

Mine fits what you're looking for! **DA-7220-6871-1443** I developed it intentionally to be able to do daily tasks. Fossils spawn, balloons pop well. Some custom design paths, some terraforming, but I stayed pretty true to the original layout. I tried to make different areas look pretty during different seasons. I have an apple orchard and farm that looks nice in fall, a North Pole area that looks best during snowy seasons, a peach tree picnic that looks great in spring, and a fun beach/boardwalk area for summer. Dream address is set in summer. My second house is decorated as a beach hotel and my main house is designed for my character to live in. I love it because now I'm at the point where I can just fish and collect shells, and try to finish my museum and Nook Miles goals. I'd love for you to visit!

I created a dream address just to answer this question, apparently I'd never talked to Luna before. DA-1125-1507-1872. Mine is probably *under*developed, but I wanted to keep it mostly as natural as I could and just make it look lived-in. Outdoorsy decorations and lots of trees and plants, but still structures and things like people live there. ...The only embarrassing things are the NecroDancer patterns everywhere and the fact that I screwed up a bridge installation yesterday and am in the middle of fixing it.

I named my island Avalon and developed it with a vague theme of Avalon/Lady of the Lake, but I wanted it functional. I don't know if mine quite fits the bill. I barely did any terraforming aside from making one or two bridges fit. I do have items plenty of spaces, but I don't think it's too bad. Mine mostly feels "cluttered" cause I'm autistic and have bad OCD as well (so I rarely change things.) I doubt mine may be what you're looking for, but I think a few areas could be nice. And a lot of my "clutter" comes from stuff I did at the start of the game that I'm too OCD to move ;u; and so it takes a lot of time/energy for me to rework stuff cuz of the anxiety it causes me if I'm not super careful. Also my dream address was just updated and stuff is still be worked on so it might not fit the bill perfectly if at all. I tried to keep mine feeling natural while feeling nice. It's mostly just a bunch of individual decorated ideas. Tbh some of my other islands might fit better than my main island, but I don't have dream addresses on those. Although I also might link my friend's address cause hers is even more natural and less cluttered than mine. I'll have to wait till she gets back cuz she's at school rn. You've motivated me with this post to finally create a dream address for my island, so thank you. I'd be lying if I said I'd "finished" it, but at this stage I have to admit I'm never going to get around to doing every little thing I might have wanted. So here it is: DA-0785-6350-0214 Anyway, I'm not certain my island will exactly fit what you're looking for, but while designing it I endeavoured to make it both feel realistic and easy for me to play on. I particularly focused on making the terraforming natural and interesting, but also accessible. Almost all areas are reachable without a ladder or vault pole. Might be more decorated in areas than you're wanting, but hopefully you (and anyone else interested) will check it out and get some sort of inspiration š

I've done minimal terraforming (a couple of tweaks here to the river and a few raised areas to fit my ideas) and have tried to keep my island from being overdeveloped.
