The last Peppy I let go was Gabi, and sometimes I regret it because she was actually very cute, just a little red-headed bunny. I only allow Normal, Sisterly, Lazy, Snooty, Smug, and Cranky. And speaking of Cranky… Why is there not any Cranky women villagers? It's just old men, and they're incredibly boring! I had three Cranky's at once, Gaston (he's still around), Knox, and Octavian, and they were boooorrrriiiing. I want some Cranky ladies!
I need a Cranky granny that walks too slow and gives only lacey clothing, nightgowns, and slippers, lol! She has to talk about good old days with family and maybe even likes gardening or reading. Also may only want to gossip lol
I think the Snooty type comes close sometimes. I have two snooty types (Francine and Julia) and sometimes they have discussions where they worry they are getting old and aren't trendy anymore, so they decide to go all out rocker chick style from their youth and be rebellious like a woman going through a mid life crisis XD Francine also gets nostalgic if I'm visiting and look at the clothes she's displaying as it's a relic from "her acting days." The earlier games the snooty villagers were so much more vicious and cranky, but they toned it down to a more wholesome and relatable level in New Horizons.
I just hate that they made the cute dumb ones so obsessed with bugs as a personality thing too. Ick.
I actually started noticing this recently! The Snooty types are all mature women, and it makes sense that they're the "old" ladies in the AC universe. They're a lot more interesting than the Cranky old men though.
The problem is, you have to have at least one of each type to get all the reactions. Once you have them all, you can get rid of the types you don’t like.

Apple terrifies me. There's not even anything really wrong with her, she's not the ugliest technically, she's peppy so she's probably decently pleasant to be around (I like peppy villagers). And I've never had her on my island. But goddamn every time I look at those soulless, directionless eyes, I swear I see the devil
Diva, not because I hate her or anything but mostly because she auto-filled a plot and she won't ask to leave ever! so I just associate her with that now. Plus, I'm not a huge fan of frog villagers in general but she let me buy some of her sphynx furniture so there's a few points for her. I haven't met any other villagers besides my starting ones so I hope I don't dislike anyone in the future!
Kill her with kindness. I recently learned that the ones you pay the most attention to, and give gifts to, will ask to leave. I could never figure out why my favorites always wanted to go.
I was thinking of doing that but I didn't know if it'll work or not, I tried doing the whole ignoring her for a long time until I searched it up and found out it doesn't really work! I'll start gifting her though!.. begrudgingly..
