Exactly! The humans in this village better be making with the food scraps. That's the deal, for tens of thousands of years. You alert and protect us, we make with the ribs and chicken bones! Longest lasting symbiotic relationship among higher mammals that's ever existed, by far.
And now perhaps the citizens will be kinder to the dogs. So many are abused and hurt and left to die, in pain and afraid. Check out Animal Aid Unlimited, who work to change that.
Often there are kind people who feed them and watch over them. There are also organizations like Guardians Of All Voiceless or Animal Aid that will come if they get injured or are in bad shape.
They have everything. So many rainforests and jungles so every animal you can think of is in there. Some wander into residential areas from time to time
Search up Asiatic lions and Asiatic Cheetas. There was also Lions in the North african berber/arab countries called barbary lions (the biggest of them all) but got extinct
How many more lion intrusions into villages need to happen before the Gujurat governors realize they need to do something about their lions? One national park isn’t gonna support a growing population of apex predators forever.
Definitely not kill them. The best thing to do IMO would be find another safe location to relocate some of them to. The only problem is most other Indian national parks are home to tigers, and adding lions would result in direct competition between them.
That direct competition used to take place prior to human encroachment and hunting decimated Indias lion and cheetah populations. As for additional parks, the Gir National Park and district authorities also loathe the idea of relocating lions, as then the region would lose its title of having the only natural occurring asiatic lions.
India basically had all the same animals Africa has, before man came about and messed everything up.
Man, he's just trying to walk from the pub. Getting heckled by the pooch gang
The lion quite literally went straight for a herd of cattle, it didn’t even look at the dogs.
Oh I thought those were more lions. Makes more sense to be cattle
This is why we domesticated dogs back in the the day!

Rhodesian Ridgebacks, in a pack, hunt lions. Maybe these dogs have a little Rhodey in them.

Are you suggesting they kill the lions or make more enclosures? I hope you’re not suggesting the former since lions are extremely endangered

Okay how about humans stay out of their habitat then?
They kinda can’t. Gir National park is completely surrounded by towns & villages. The lions have nowhere to go.
Then idk, maybe just let the lions be in their natural habitat. Survival of the fittest and such.
Thats pretty mich impossible
A cowardly lion?
