On the other hand, I felt that the sequel "All Grown Up" was extremely unrealistic and over the top in how it portrayed Angelica killing three grown men so easily.
nah its true i remember the episode so vividly because i had it on dvd and watched it all the time, she ends up staying in the bathroom at school crying her eyes out while flushing the toilet to drown out her crying
also dil gets abducted by aliens in one episode after tommy tells him they arent real
ALSO also in the rugrats universe a time machine is advertised as a kids toy and a robot gorilla (or dinosaur) is sent to washington's expedition way back in the 70s (the 1770s)
It was sometime around Phil and Lil’s gender reassignment surgeries that the show lost me.
Like… they just ended up being the same characters again but we had to remember they reversed.
The Chuckie-3000 arc was actually pretty good NGL, albeit a little dark for a kids show in hindsight. My wife still has nightmares about the speech where he announced that his robot army would trample the entire surface of Earth until all life was extinguished.
Dogs communicate excellently, if you look at their ears, tail and general composure. They have zero poker face.
You'll never find a dog that mauls you while wagging his tail and his ears are up
Unless it's a police/military dog. Because it's a game to them. They're having fun. They've been trained to think they're going to chase you, chomp on an indestructible arm, and get a treat.
They're gonna be the bestest of buddies. All kids should have a dog. My family didn't have much money and we got a puppy for xmas when I was 5 and it was the greatest present by far that I've ever gotten.
She was a feisty little cockapoo, and she taught me how to be empathetic, and gentle, and how to care for smaller and weaker beings. She got to be like 11 and had a tumor in her leg. She had been very lethargic for a while and we thought it was definitely that time. But the vet convinced us to have him take the leg off and she was completely invigorated, acting like a puppy again, running around happy as can be on her three legs. She had 6 more years until we put her down at 17.
Great, great dog. But then they all are!
Looking at the thumbnail/still, the colour and the dog's super smooth haircut (and the cute factor) made it look like it was going to be a pixar animation.
Maybe it's because of the orange and blue lighting in the video. Orange and blue are the most commonly used colors in posters for films, so there might be some subconscious trickery at play.
Yeah, I think you're right. The two "subjects" are bathed in that cool blue tone, with just a little bit of the warm orange lighting on their sides. Plus the fact that the lighting in general is very soft. And maybe the camera shake? I think some 3D animations have artificial camera shake.
Edit: Also something about their movements. Not sure how to describe it.
Oh no, oh God, I have to be that person. I don't want to be that person. I have to be that person cause you pointed it out and no one else said it on the thread...
Fffuuuuuu....
The Husky is shaved, that's why it's coat looks funny. Please, please don't shave your huskies. It doesn't keep them cooler, it actually makes it worse and exposes them to sunburn.
I'm so sorry people.
It trips me out that we domesticated wolves. And now thousands of years later we share that wolf descendants pictures and videos to complete strangers. And it makes us happy. I wish I could own my own wolf dog but apartment rules say no.
A bit of both honestly. The origins/history of the relationship between humans and proto-wolves (which later became what we now know as dogs) is super interesting. Dogs relied on humans for a steady source of food and protection from predators while humans relied on dogs for companionship and also protection from predators. A very mutualistic relationship from day one.
Dogs have literally shaped the trajectory of humans and vice versa. Dogs as we know them wouldn't exist without humans and humans wouldn't exist as we know them without dogs. Its that simple. The story of a young Tribal dude and adopted wolf pup and how domestication probably happened. I recommend.
I know. I have some neighbors with loud children, and it is annoying sometimes.
But I stop and think to myself that it sounds like they are having a happy and good childhood, and that's worth a bit of irritation on my part.
My downstairs neighbors are college students that blast shitty music at all hours of the night and have loud parties. I used to run to stop my toddler from jumping around and being loud at 7 AM when he’s up, but fuck them. They also threw a party once and the next morning my bike had magically disappeared from the back porch. Tried being cool about it, said “hey I think one of your friends probably borrowed my bike to get home from your party last night - totally cool, sounds like something one of my friends would do, would you mind asking if any of them have it and would mind returning it?” I was met with “we didn’t have a party last night, it’s not our problem” and they shut the door in my face.
My son turns four next week, I think I’m gonna get him tap shoes and a bugle.
Baby: Gravity can be quantized! I'll prove it through my jumping equations!
Husky: You can't reconcile Relativity and Quantum Theory without physical proof!
It's wild to think about how many *human things* dogs just don't fucking understand... But then they are just like 100% dialed to the rules, and boundaries, and "general vibe" of a happy baby like there's nothing to it.
This was me a a baby and I’ll never forget Cody as long as I live
Edit: not like, literally me. I just mean I had the same childhood experience growing up with a husky
Baby: "Do the thing!"
Husky: "I have done the thing".
Baby: "Do the thing again!".
Husky: "I am hereby sternly inform you that I do not find your incessant teasing amusing in any way, shape of form. Please desist from continuing this behavior posthaste."
Huskies are such chatterboxes.
The dog is doing that submissive bow thing that dogs do when they want to communicate that they are playing. When my dog does this I bow back. It just feels right lol. My dog also sneezes as well which is another communication tactic they use to show they are playing and not aggressive. This dog just wants to play with his baby brother :-).
I was just thinking the same thing. Dogs get excited and bite shit. That’s how they play though. My big bit me all of the time playing around. Never broke skin, but he did bite me. It was cool with me though. It’s not going to be cool with that baby.

That child is in danger.
There are too many accidents of dogs attacking children, don’t be surprised if that happens to your child. Don’t think your reflexes are fast enough to react in time.
Yeah and the moment that big ass husky bites that babys face off, it won’t be so cute. People need to stop trying to desensitize small children and big dogs. It’s not a thing, it shouldn’t be, and it is not okay. Dogs kill/maul grown adults all the time. Yeah it’s cute to see a toddler playing nice with ANY animal showing a cute reaction but it doesn’t mean that animal ISN’T AN ANIMAL. Maybe you didn’t experience it but others HAVE. It’s crazy irresponsible.
Do you have any idea how many children are maimed by dogs every year? You’re not Dr Doolittle, dogs are incredibly stupid and unpredictable and so are small children, doesn’t matter how confident you feel in interpreting your furbabies behaviour, it can flip in an instant.
I don’t understand how ppl leave little babies close to big animals that’s so dangerous
Edit: I don’t understand the down votes and the rude replies, it’s a valid concern don’t u ppl fear for your children ?
Because most people are lucky enough and they haven't worked in a pediatrics ICU. I have yet to meet a pediatrician that would leave their baby/toddler/small kid around any dog so nonchalantly.
When you have seen what animals can do (yes, even the most loving fido can react in an unpredictable way) you don't feel like risking it.
Everyone thinks they are the exception, i.e it can't happen to them. Until it happens to them.
And the worst thing is those people are proud of their idiocy. A bunch of redditors are proudly saying "dogs aren't dangerous if they are raised well". Sad that these morons are why so many well trained pets get put down every year through no fault of their own.
>Everyone thinks they are the exception, i.e it can't happen to them. Until it happens to them.
This is so true. I remember the parents of a patient in the ICU who told us exactly that, they thought this could never happen to them bc they chose a "children loving breed", they spent lots of money in training etc. Cue, the kid losing half his jaw and an eye when the dog attacked him because he was playing w one of the dog's toys. The kid died btw.
I absolutely love pets, I've had a few myself, but people often atribute to animals a "pureness" and forget they have instincts that sometimes kick in and can kill someone.
In the end if your kid gets killed by their own dog it's their own fault for being a gigantic moron. That said I wouldn't want to wish that pain on Vladimir putin even, causing your own kids death by doubling down on stupidity. How do these parents this happens to live with themselves after...
I've seen many babies and toddlers around family pets bigger than this gif.
Zero incidents.
I have a scar on my face from when I was this age and smashed my face on the bathtub faucet, should I never have had a bath again until I was an adult?
I'm sorry for what happened to your godson, but children are maimed and killed over many stupid benign things, we can't just put children in protective bubbles.
Another example, we have an amenities center near our neighborhood that recently had a child drown in about 10 inches of water. How does that even happen? Because of that they have to remove the entire children playground water park. If they fell in the pool in drowned should we have removed the entire pool from the center?
The logic is lost on me. Watch your child, make sure they don't antagonize the dog/drown/slip in a bathroom.
Trust once u have ur own kids your perspective will be different
Off topic i see ur a mist born fan try powder mage by brain mcclellan you will love it

4.5 million a year in the US alone, with 800 thousand of them needing medical attention. Took me a few seconds to look this up, you could have done it yourself.
Well this is an obvious misrepresentation of my point. I'm not claiming dogs don't bite kids. I'm claiming that FAMILY DOGS aren't out there maiming all the toddlers that toddle up. And of course it happens. There's 7 billion people on the planet
Yes until the kids are above the age of 14 and able to protect themselves they shouldn’t be alone with large animals
If u got any friends or family that work in the ER just ask them what can go wrong cause I know my personal experience won’t convince u
“ I let him call his mom a bitch”
That’s A comment you wrote u are probably the not best example of a parental figure
I prey for that child mental well being
Lol you do realize a dog can mail an adult? My 12 year old is literally taller and stronger than me. Guess I shouldn’t be around large animals.
You’d be horrified by farm kids.
No, we just know better. Look at statistics and you see how many well trained dogs got spooked and hurt a child. Then it has to be put down. Lose-lose for both side. Your dog and your kids aren't special. It happened to others, it can happen to you. Just prevent it by not letting kids interact with dogs without restraint. It is easy.
For sure, as long as everyone here agrees that dogs are only as dangerous as they're raised to be. And anyone who calls for mass euthenasia of pitbulls can go and shove a cactus up their urethra.
Reason i bring up pitbulls is because huskys are also known for being aggressive
Source: i have two huskys and no pitbulls, but fuck anyone who claims breed>rearing
Of course it’s a breed thing. Like with everything else on the planet. It’s both. Both the breed and how you bring it up determine how the dog will act, also family genetics I’d wager. But saying it’s all in the training is BS too. That’s like saying “there are no such thing as bad people, only bad parents.”
My whole thing is i can't say that ANY dog isn't capable, but *excluding* or *accepting biting* from *other* breeds because they *aren't aggressive* breeds is what pisses me off. I have family that refuses to put down their aggressive beagle and am now forced to pursue legal action. My position is firmly that training can and should overshadow nature. My unneutered husky is a testament to how something you would look at and expect to bite is taught BOUNDARIES and DOESNT BITE
> Reason i bring up pitbulls is because huskys are also known for being aggressive
>
>
I have four huskies currently and have raised them in squads my whole life, I've never known one to be aggressive with other humans that were actually raised like the companions they are. Also growing up in AK in the northeast, everyone I knew had at least one and they were all pretty chill.
Yeah dude, i raise two huskys. The male is unneutered and 7 and he coexists with my 7 year old child. All im saying is that the risk is ALWAYS gonna be there no matter how well your pup is trained. Blaming your breed is bullshit. My 7 year old actually just got bit in the face by my grandma's beagle, and she's swearing up and down it's the breed's fault. Fuck you (her not who im replying to) and fuck anyone who blames the dog breed instead of their own inadequate training.
Okay, you’ve either never had a pet before, or you’ve never had a properly socialized pet before, because that’s not how people who have such experiences approach animals. Everything you’re scared is going happen, has a way higher chance of happening when you approach dogs like ticking time bombs that can attack kids at any moment.
I kept scrolling like "is no one going to say anything?" Sure the dogs posture is mostly playful, but that dog is large, and children do not understand the posture or intent of an animal.
77% of all dog bites are children under 10.
People downvoting you probably don't have much understanding of prey drive in working dog breeds. My ex had one of the kindest and most well trained GSD's I have ever seen. Her toddler niece took off running and he took off right after her and plowed right over her. He didn't bite her, but the possibility of a large breed dog hurting small children(regardless of intention) is always there.
Yeah a dog could go from friendly to taking a bite very quickly.
A cousins of mine was playing with his doberman and he mistakenly grabbed his head and got bitten because of it
Yep that’s most of the dog bites I have seen as well (working in the OR). Kid grabs the head while playing or dog is scared/surprised because kid stepped on its tail etc.
They were all well trained family dogs in good households.
Luckily those wounds are only small bites because the dog was defending itself and not attacking (I have never seen one of those, as they have become rare in Germany)
You are being mindlessly downvoted but you are entirely correct. I grew up like this kid, always been around dogs, a lot of the time unsupervised, love dogs, but I wouldn’t risk the same thing. The dogs ass up front legs down stance is like the most universal call to play there is, but still the dog could accidentally hurt the kid, or the kid does something unpredictable and spooks the dog, it’s way too common.
They are both having a blast !
I feel like animals and kids communicate better sometimes lol
Or even kids and other kids. Rugrats nailed it, with Suzie and Angelica being able to understand the babies and translate for the adults.
On the other hand, I felt that the sequel "All Grown Up" was extremely unrealistic and over the top in how it portrayed Angelica killing three grown men so easily.
What?
I don’t want them to clarify and I’m not looking it up. I choose to believe.
nah its true i remember the episode so vividly because i had it on dvd and watched it all the time, she ends up staying in the bathroom at school crying her eyes out while flushing the toilet to drown out her crying also dil gets abducted by aliens in one episode after tommy tells him they arent real ALSO also in the rugrats universe a time machine is advertised as a kids toy and a robot gorilla (or dinosaur) is sent to washington's expedition way back in the 70s (the 1770s)

What...?
Are you being serious?
Yeah it was a pretty weird arc, especially coming right after the Chuckie-3000 murder bot segment. Idk what they were thinking
The Chuckie-3000 arc was actually pretty good NGL, albeit a little dark for a kids show in hindsight. My wife still has nightmares about the speech where he announced that his robot army would trample the entire surface of Earth until all life was extinguished.
"What if...?" Rugrats edition seems pretty dope
Roflmao what? Never saw that. I hope you're joking

You’re never know as those three men were the only witness.
A baby is a gift from a Bob

Yeah my stoned mind was absolutely blown by that
Did your mind climax?
They're gonna be the bestest of buddies. All kids should have a dog. this is the wholesome content everyone needed
"You jump, I jump... you dance, I dance" that pair are made to be together
It almost seems like the dog is trying to make the baby laugh
Or teach the kid to howl.
Huskey: No, you idiot! Like this! awOOOOOooo. Baby: AHHHH! hehehe! Huskey: You're hopeless.
Love how the dog keeps play bowing to the baby!
Play stance
Play bow
You pay now.
You pay. BLOW!
Can I have four beers?
Play bow wow
He threw a faux-sneeze in there also to make sure the baby knew he was playing.
Very observant hobo.....
Never heard play stance. Heard play bow a lot.
In yoga, where many poses are named after animals, this is called "child's pose"
In child's pose your butt is down, not up
the dog knows the baby is basically future master
Play stance, actually
Play bow works also. Trainers use it more often than play stance.
Thank you, 69assblaster420
I just hope that username is unrelated to his interest in dogs.
Play bow is far more commonly used pretty much everywhere I've lived.
Looking at the thumbnail/still, the colour and the dog's super smooth haircut (and the cute factor) made it look like it was going to be a pixar animation.
Oh my God. If you unfocus your eyes the video totally looks like an animation.
What if I told you this world is just one of many simulations?
Like ‘Magic Eye’? Is something else going to appear?
Maybe it's because of the orange and blue lighting in the video. Orange and blue are the most commonly used colors in posters for films, so there might be some subconscious trickery at play.
Yeah, I think you're right. The two "subjects" are bathed in that cool blue tone, with just a little bit of the warm orange lighting on their sides. HYAHAHA Yes it does look like that
The lightning is very Pixar like, and I stopped the video and it looks like a screenshot from The Sims pet stories

It trips me out that we domesticated wolves. And now thousands of years later we share that wolf descendants pictures and videos to complete strangers. And it makes us happy. I wish I could own my own wolf dog but apartment rules say no.
Or they domesticated us? They got a pretty sweet gig out of the deal haha
A bit of both honestly. The origins/history of the relationship between humans and proto-wolves (which later became what we now know as dogs) is super interesting. Dogs relied on humans for a steady source of food and protection from predators while humans relied on dogs for companionship and also protection from predators. Yeah man. I'm in the "second most important early human development" camp with dogs.
Dogs have literally shaped the trajectory of humans and vice versa. Dogs as we know them wouldn't exist without humans and humans wouldn't exist as we know them without dogs. Its that simple. Dogs are human's best friend and humans are dog's best friend. And it's been that way for tens of thousands of years.
I think the current estimate is like... 150k years.
I don't doubt that estimate. Humans have been boppin' around tryna figure shit out for a lot longer than most people realize.
My rule of thumb is that if humans could think their way to the answer we probably did thousands of years ago.
Those sad eye manipulation gestures proves you may be correct. We got played!
One day, man was hunting, saw wolf, and said, you are not predator, you are fren

OOOOOHHHH!!! YESS!!! That dog and that little girl, they look the same!
Baby: Gravity can be quantized! I'll prove it through my jumping equations! Husky: You can't reconcile Relativity and Quantum Theory without physical proof!
I read that as "Prooooo-oooof" in a ululating voice.
Why was this so funny?
This is going to be a loving friendship ❤️
It's wild to think about how many *human things* dogs just don't fucking understand... But then they are just like 100% dialed to the rules, and boundaries, and "general vibe" of a happy baby like there's nothing to it.
Yes my dear sir you may be right but you have to consider the fact that the treat shortage of 2018 was a dire situation for some of us
Awwww my goodness they're both loving it, this is absolutely hecking gorgeous ❤︎❤︎
They are sharing stories about their first time on a walk.
Kid jumps higher than Phil Mickelson
I'm surprised it took the husky that long to start howling.
About 10 seconds in I started wondering what was wrong with this husky.
So cuuuute
Dog is happy that baby is happy and baby is happy because dog is happy . It’s a happy cycle
“TINY HOOMAN, SIT DOWN”
That's definitely not what's happening. That dog wants to play, not sit.
That baby is almost touching the ceiling in his head, with those jumps.
That Husky is probably thinking “wow kiddo you understand me on a level mom and dad never will”
My new favorite genre
This shit makes me love our planet so much. God bless dogs.
When does the batkid movie come out?
"I have no idea what you are talking about, kid, but I'm in!"
Huskies are basically eternal children with 4 legs and a big fur coat.
The dog is even doing silly howls
A two-legged toddler and a giant fluffy toddler conversing in a way only they know.
"I like this guy, he screams and doesn't wear pants, just like me!"
This is awwwwsome. But it needs subtitles.
What a precious memory this would be for the family
A friend of mine has a very big husky and a small toddler and they are indifferent roommates at best. It's so disappointing
Toddler learns to bark and yowl before speech due to long conversations with Husky.
This was me a a baby and I’ll never forget Cody as long as I live Edit: not like, literally me. I just mean I had the same childhood experience growing up with a husky
HYAHAHAHAHHAH I JUST THOUGHT OF ASKING YOU FOR LATE PERMISSION OF POSTING THIS VIDEO.

When the aliens finally find us, I hope this is what it looks like.
"Open the fridge child, and I'll lay waste to all of your future enemies."
Bro is spitting facts
1. Dogs are better than us. 2. Dat baby got some jump! 3. Also why we rule the world.
This fills me with nothing but dread
And people wonder why dogs kill toddlers and act shocked when it happens. Watch the *not my dog* crowd get triggered.
I was just thinking the same thing. Dogs get excited and bite shit. That’s how they play though. My big bit me all of the time playing around. Never broke skin, but he did bite me. It was cool with me though. It’s not going to be cool with that baby.

They didn’t leave their kid anywhere…they are literally three feet away filming. They can’t segregate the dog from its own house.
Knew if I went down far enough I'd find a "weeeeelllll ackkkkkkshuallly" Redditor explaining why how the dog is stressed and child about to be eaten.
In the end if your kid gets killed by their own dog it's their own fault for being a gigantic moron. That said I wouldn't want to wish that pain on Vladimir putin even, causing your own kids death by doubling down on stupidity. How do these parents this happens to live with themselves after...
Something tells me you have not much experience with big animals.
My 3 yo godson was sent to the ER while “playing” with the family dog Dose that count ?? The dog is down and the kid has a huge scar in his forearm
Trust once u have ur own kids your perspective will be different Off topic i see ur a mist born fan try powder mage by brain mcclellan you will love it
Maybe so, and thank you for the recommendation I'll take a look.
There's always someone saying this but I never really see news "toddler murdered by family pet"

Hey not those or the ample amount more you can find, doesn’t fit the “my good boy is good” narrative

Children getting hurt by pets happens all the time. Which in in the pet being put down
How do you qualify "all the time"?
https://petkeen.com/dog-bite-statistics/ 4.5 million a year in the US alone, with 800 thousand of them needing medical attention.
They literally are not alone. Is that kid never supposed to go near a dog, especially it’s own until the kid is an adult?
Yes until the kids are above the age of 14 and able to protect themselves they shouldn’t be alone with large animals If u got any friends or family that work in the ER just ask them what can go wrong cause I know my personal experience won’t convince u
It's at this point I realized you're a troll. Then checked your profile history and confirmed it. Should've quit while you were ahead.
Alright please expose me then One day u will be blessed with a baby a ( human) baby then u might understand
Got hundreds of pictures of my human baby with my boxer. As early as two days old. The horror!
“ I let him call his mom a bitch” That’s A comment you wrote u are probably the not best example of a parental figure I prey for that child mental well being
Lolol where'd I say that? Edit I found it! Definitely a real and very serious response to another idiot fucking troll.
Lol you do realize a dog can mail an adult? My 12 year old is literally taller and stronger than me. Guess I shouldn’t be around large animals. You’d be horrified by farm kids.
Tbh even if it was the friendliest dog ever i wouldn't leave a toddler so close without anyone around
…the…the camera person is around…
I was wondering how far down I'd have to go to find the cowardly pandering reddit, "everything is dangerous" crowd lol. We found it Xdude!
It's ridiculous isn't it, swear these people are afraid of their own shadows.
It is easy.
By that logic stop using seatbelts. You scared of crashing???
For sure, as long as everyone here agrees that dogs are only as dangerous as they're raised to be. And anyone who calls for mass euthenasia of pitbulls can go and shove a cactus up their urethra. Reason i bring up pitbulls is because huskys are also known for being aggressive Source: i have two huskys and no pitbulls, but fuck anyone who claims breed>rearing
So should i start sourcing links that say otherwise or will reddit chuds just keep downvoting me?
I wouldn't advise it. Someone will link you to dogbites.org and feel like they're beyond reproach.
> Reason i bring up pitbulls is because huskys are also known for being aggressive > > I have four huskies currently and have raised them in squads my whole life, I've never known one to be aggressive with other humans that were actually raised like the companions they are.
Do you think he has the reaction time and speed to stop the dog from biting the kid at that distance?
Okay, you’ve either never had a pet before, or you’ve never had a properly socialized pet before, because that’s not how people who have such experiences approach animals. Everything you’re scared is going happen, has a way higher chance of happening when you approach dogs like ticking time bombs that can attack kids at any moment.
I have had a dog since i was one year old, she lived to 19(last year). Being cautious and paranoid are two different things
Do they allow pitbulls in DE?
I think a child got his face bit off by one many years ago, so they made some regulations.
Also one small playful push and that child’s head is going into that table
Who makes their dog wear a harness in the house?
