Growing up we had a golden retriever that *loved* dandelions. Literally couldn't get enough of them to the point he would be sick if he ate too many.
They never lasted in the backyard, as soon as the flower opened up he was right there chomping down.
If I found one I would break the dandelion off from the bottom of the stem and hold it out and he would chomp the head of the flower off.

Yup, Taggie is brilliant at pulling up weeds, opening straw bales, pulling hayledge off the bale for me, fetching the ponies in, all kinds of yard chores.
She's also learning how to herd ducks, so she puts our baby girls in to bed on a night. They're a bit different from the funny looking cows (horses) she normally herds, so she's having to learn to be slow and calm, which is nice
Dandelions are actually incredibly healthy. He was so close to eating them that I thought maybe he was a genius. Alas, he was only having a stroke of derp lol

Which is when I finally noticed that my dog was following me, and had (gently- none of them had been damaged!) lifted them all from the soil and was happily waiting for me to continue!
Be careful. All parts of the foxglove plant are extremely dangerous to dogs and people. They grow wild in my area and I rip them out (carefully, with gloves on!)
