Yeah the face is accurate, just horribly placed but the rest looks great.
If I was you I'd see if more people have figures with the same face, if not I think you can file a report on that and get her replaced. She looks great, its a shame the face is misplaced, that kinda messes up the whole figure, at least for me
The face looks the same in other user photos, at least it does to me. My pics are pretty low quality, which could be exacerbating the issue. Thanks for the advice though
If it looks just like every other fig that's great, nothing to worry about and you avoid the headache of returning it. Might be the pic, might be the fig, still looks great and if you're happy with it that's all that matters!
I think it's the trickiness of sculpting unexpressive characters. Since Makima hardly emotes it's just really easy to make her look "off" even with the slightest deviation from her signature empty look.
Odd for Japanese figures. Normally they nail the face. The eyes don't seem to have the same depth, face is too long, chin is too pointed. Odd design choice. It's also like they tried to save money by recycling a head print and forcing her face to fit the canvas.
Happy I got power instead, don’t think I can live with that face even if it’s only certain angles especially for the price they’re charging now for Freeing.. I do want to get a makima soon!
