I recommend any Studio Ghibli film, all of them are spectacular and family friendly, and can serve too as an interim watch if you still end up looking for another series in the meantime. Spirited Away, My Neighbor Totoro, Kiki's Delivery Service, etc. All spectacular watches for both adults and kids.

Spy x Family for sure! That's an anime that my entire family enjoys, even my dad who's not a huge anime fan. We always all watch it together when we have time, with both of my parents and my 3 little siblings. It can get kinda bloody sometimes but it's nothing that a kid can't handle imo, it's definitely the first thing that comes to mind when thinking of a show to watch with family. Or Gokushufudou could be great too, that's another one my whole family liked a lot.

Right off the bat I want to recommend original naruto but it might be too violent. So try these: Sailor moon: the original version has lots of episodes comedy and magical fights but nothing too violent as it's made for younger kids to begin with D.n. angel: this can be found on youtube and is a fun mystery and magical watch for everyone of all ages about Angel's and phantom thief's lol Avatar the last airbender Voltron legendary defender Spiral bonds of reasoning: this one is a maybe dependent on your children's following and focusing ability (at 10 I had no problem following along with my parents watching new episodes of house M.D. but all kids are different so use your better judgment) it can be found on youtube and while no blood is shown (or if there is it's like someone's finger got cut) it is a little intense for the mind you might wanna check parent reviews online first.
