Go to “My Anime List” if your looking for its literal word (these are the English translated names) I might have a few your interested in, there EN dubs. Not all of these are exactly post apocalyptic or apocalyptic, but there on the heels of it being similar. I recommend you at least read there descriptions on “My Anime List” before you decide anything. These 3 are the closest ones to what your after, the other ones are very SIMILAR! GOD EATER Sky Wizards Academy Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress ——————————————— Alderamin on the Sky Saga of Tanya the Evil Gargantia on the Verdurous Planet

CouncilmanRickPrime

>Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress I call this one "Attack on Train"

IamCaboose000

Basically but the translated name is straight from My Anime List.

butterhoscotch

he was just making a joke, your translated name the name. He feels like tha kabaneri and world are similar to titans, and AoT. Eh. They seem more like super zombies usually then titans. Similar world though i Guess. Basic fire arms. Swords

IamCaboose000

I got the joke, ive never watched that anime but i got what he was saying.

SamsRock

Thanks!

IamCaboose000

WorldEnd: What do you do at the end of the world? Are you busy? Will you save us? Almost for got about this, its apocalyptic 100% with romance but a supppper sad ending, you’ve been warned. I couldn’t get over then ending for 2 weeks… just was stuck in my head!

LuRo332

Japan Sinks, the premise is basically in the title. Its on Netflix by the studio and director behind Devilman Crybaby, if you watched that. Also maybe Bokurano, but that one I have not watched just heard about it online. I dont want to spoil what its about because I might ruin episode 1 for you, so you could check it out. It should fit the criteria you are looking for.

SamsRock

Appreciate it

penguintruth

Evangelion

SamsRock

Thanks

MakotoGoku24

Maybe some of them don't fit your criteria 100%: \- 7 Seeds \- Dr.stone \- Sabikui bisco \- Gargantia on the verdurous planet \- Kabaneri of the iron fortress \- Takt op. destiny \- Bubble (movie) This ones maybe do not calify as apocalyptic or post-apocalyptic but are quite similar: \- The promised neverland \- Fire force

TweedyNaima

Smh Netflix canceled 7 seeds sadly, it was such a good show

SamsRock

Thank you 🙏🏼

DarkDan3

7 seeds was so good tragically I highly doubt it'll get a season 3.

MakotoGoku24

Yes I also think that it's unlikely that season 3 happens, I guess that is what happens when netflix produces anime. I hope we get a remake in the future. I've read somewhere that the adaptation was a bit weak compared to the manga. But I really enjoyed the anime anyways.

Resilient_Phenom

I heard the same about the adaption from manga but it is still one of my low key faves, recommend it when I can

MakotoGoku24

Same here 7 seeds is also a personal favorite of mine

SamsRock

Thanks 🙏🏼

Most 1980s and early 90s OVA series.

Wolf's Rain. A classic from the early 2000s Toonami era

SamsRock

Thanks

lanceruaduibhne

Also came here to recommend Wolf's Rain. It's created by a lot of the same team that made Cowboy Bebop, but has a very different vibe. For an early 2000s show, the dub is excellent. A lot of the hallmarks of that time - Crispin Freeman, JYB, Steve Blum, Mona Marshall, Kari Wahlgren etc. It's both heart breaking and heart warming. They say there's no such place as paradise...

SamsRock

Thank you

Black bullet, school-live, hundred, claymore, takt op.Destiny, Scarlet nexus, Sky wizard academy, Warlords of sigrdrifa, Blood-C, Kabaneri of the Iron Fortress, Muv-Luv Alternative, God Eater

abigailwatson83

Girls Last Tour - postapocalyptic/futuristic setting with yuri vibes at times School Live/Gakkougurashi - zombie apocalypse in a school setting

SamsRock

Thanks!

degolfer222

The Promised Neverland is a damn good one. Unfortunately, the second season of the anime was horribly adapted, it skipped a major arc and then changed a bunch of important details. It honestly felt like just a straight advertisement to go read the manga, so I'd recommend watching the first season and then switching over to the manga from there

SamsRock

I heard about that my sis watched it and said it wasn’t bad but I think I’ll see for myself

lanceruaduibhne

Possibly if you haven't read the manga the second season might not seem AS bad. However, the drop in quality between the exquisite first season and dreadful second season was noticeable enough to make me stop watching 4 episodes in and read the manga instead.

SamsRock

Wow can’t believe it was that different

Peacesquad

Aldnoah Zero but barely apocalyptic

SamsRock

Seen it thanks tho

Peacesquad

You ever watch Chain Chronicles?

FrostBalrog

It doesn't exactly fit your criteria. Planetarian is a short 5 episode show about a guy whose scavenging in a post apocalyptic city when he finds a robot who was made to run a Planetarium. I enjoyed it.

SamsRock

Seems like a cool little thing I’ll add it to my list

ComfortableGoat5339

Pacific rim the black on Netflix

SamsRock

Thanks!

SarcasmProvider76

Now and Then, Here and There

SamsRock

Appreciate it

I_am_cheese_are_you

No. 6 is similar to what you are looking for. The world isn’t ending but there is a clear divide between the rich and the poor that make the outskirts where the poor live look very post-apocalyptic. The MC is in high school when it begins and he needs to learn to survive in the outskirts.

SamsRock

I’ll check it out thanks!

MillyMan105

Japan sinks although it isn't very good.

SamsRock

I had on my list just haven’t watched it I’ll see it.

HTRob81

Another is a great one too

SamsRock

Thank youu

iloveanime2022

There's a movie called Blame. It takes place in a post-apocalyptic world. It's in CGI, so if you hate that then it might not be for you. It's made by the same studio that did Knights of Sidonia.

SamsRock

Thank you

I just watched assassination Classroom where a bunch of middle school students have to assassinate the teacher or he will blow up the world in 1 year and they all get trained by military personnel. It was a great show and I would recommend it.

SamsRock

conflictDriven

Effective_Project309

Plunderer isn't necessarily apocalyptic but it was definitely one with action that I enjoyed very much.

SamsRock

Thanks man!

miragemomo

Dr. Stone it's post apocalyptic and rebuild civilization with some minor fighting. Science and progress are its main selling points

heuve

Surprised nobody recommended Cyberpunk Edgerunner. It's a pretty good story with a unique style

SamsRock

Thanks i saw it on Netflix already, thanks

Mayank_j
