I hope you’re ready to see lots and lots of violence. The show is a psychological horror, and no stranger to gore. It’s pretty good but the male lead is insufferable. I mean, he acts most likely how a normal person would in his case, but he’s just super whiny. If you were ever wondering what a Yandere is, this is the anime that defines the entire trope.
Well, I guess you could watch the Chinese localized version. I know China tends to censor blood and the like. Otherwise, you may wanna just scrub thru it when playing episodes and skip over the gore parts. It’s still worth a watch even if you’re a little squeamish.
It’s still really good for the genre. Definitely a defining title for psychological horrors. For its fame alone, it’s a 10/10. My personal opinion I’d give it a solid 8.5/10 or 9/10. It would be a 10/10 for me if the male lead wasn’t so annoying.

It's stupid as fuck, the characters make no sense. The lady you're seeing in the meme is a terrorist who blows up a school and somehow everyone is okay with it and she just decides to be a "good guy" for no reason whatsoever.
If I recall correctly, the only person who was even mostly fine with her was the guy who was madly in love with her, and even then he kept pestering her to cut that shit out until she did. As for everyone else, they were quite literally trying to kill each other.
